As expected, Murong approached Ye Xiu, gloating as she scanned his face for signs of a sleepless night. She had spent over three hours posting flyers yesterday, certain that Ye Xiu's phone would be blowing up with calls. However, Ye Xiu looked full of energy, showing no signs of having missed a night's sleep.
"Do you have a habit of turning off your phone before bed?" Murong asked.
"As someone who eats walnuts every day, I have my phone set to automatically block unknown numbers." Ye Xiu patted Murong on the shoulder and said with a smile, "Kid, you're still a bit slow on the uptake. You should eat more walnuts; they're good for the brain."
"You..." Murong was furious. Did I waste all that time putting up flyers yesterday for nothing?
"You rogue!" Seething, Murong spun around and headed for the school gate, ignoring him.
Ye Xiu chased after her and gave her a light smack on the rear. "That's right, I am a rogue."
