Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 - The Grand Reserve

When Aurora arrived at The Grand Reserve, she was immediately greeted by a concierge who led her down a quiet, carpeted hallway toward a private room.

The moment the door swung open, a familiar scent enveloped her.

Felix was already there.

He stood magnificently, his body upright, his chin up, shoulder's back with hands in his pocket as he stared out the window.

Seeing him, Aurora couldn't help but goon at how incredible he looked.

Feeling the shift in the room, Felix instinctively turned around.

In an instant he was mesmerized.

Before him stood a goddess.

She wore a classic black dress with a sophisticated silhouette that perfectly accentuated her toned physique. The luxurious, smooth fabric draped elegantly against her skin, while subtle bell-shaped sleeves added a touch of timeless grace.

Under the restaurant's soft, golden lighting, her skin looked completely flawless, and her dark hair cascaded down her back like a rich waterfall.

Her makeup was subtle, simply highlighting her striking, natural beauty.

Drawn in like a magnet, Felix couldn't help but step forward as she stood by the door.

His immediate, spellbound reaction made a soft smile tug at her lips, causing his heart to skip a beat.

His eyes scanned all over her, taking in every single detail, down to the subtle hemline resting just above her knees.

"Wow, Rora"

"You look... breathtaking."" Felix stammered, his usually confident voice filled with genuine admiration.

Aurora blushed, warmth flooding into her chest.

"Thanks, Felix. You clean up pretty nicely yourself," she playfully complimented, her eyes sparkling.

"Oh, please, allow me." Felix snapped out of his daze with a laugh, stepping forward to pull out a seat for her.

"Thank you." Aurora smiled.

As he took his own seat across from her, his eyes kept drifting back to her face, completely captivated.

He cleared his throat and offered a smile.

"Why don't we order some dishes first?"

"Sure," Aurora smiled.

When the food was served, Felix took the opportunity to strike up a conversation.

Though it was a bit stilted and nervous at first, as they ate and got to know each other better, they both begun to relax.

They talked about pretty much everything possible, from their jobs to their hobbies and friends.

As the night went on, Aurora was surprised as to how much they had in common.

And she couldn't help feeling more and more comfortable around him.

By the time they finished their dinner and prepared to part ways, the restaurant was quiet.

Felix walked Aurora out to the VIP parking lot.

Standing beside her luxury sedan, they gazed at each other under the dim streetlights, both deeply hesitant to actually say goodbye.

"I had a really good time tonight," Felix said, a smile lingering on his lips.

"Me too," Aurora shyly replied, her heart skipping a beat.

Felix took a nervous breath, "Would you like to go on a second date with me?" He asked, his eyes sparkling with hope.

"Mm...lemme think about it," her finger tapping her chin.

"But if I do agree that it'll be my treat"

" Sure I can't wait to see how a date by 'Miss Aura' goes," he laughed.

"Hey! It's Aurora", she laughingly enunciated her name as she slapped him on the shoulder with her clutch.

"Right, right, my bad." He smirked.

"Okay, then, we'll catch up later", she finally said, turning around to walk over to her car.

"Wait."

Felix's voice rung through the silent parking lot.

Aurora stopped in her tracks. Turning to face him almost instantly like she had been waiting for his call all along.
