Lin Kuang, who was playing with the little golden retriever, was taken aback when he heard a knock at the door. He had been so immersed in play that he had even forgotten to be vigilant.
Thinking of this, Lin Kuang broke into a cold sweat, relieved that it was only someone knocking, for if it had been an assassin, the outcome could have been perilous.
