"Let's just pay and go. Ignore her," Lin Kuang said with a faint smile, looking at Liu Shilin and Liu Shiyu while completely disregarding the screaming woman behind them.
"Let's go. I'm done shopping," Liu Shiyu huffed. Even though Lin Kuang had helped her, she showed no intention of thanking him.
"Let's go, Lin Kuang," Liu Shilin called out with a smile.
Lin Kuang nodded. The three of them walked away, paying no attention to the woman or the stares from the passing crowd.
"Don't you dare leave! All of you, stop right there! None of you are getting away today!" the woman shrieked, seeming to have gone mad as she rushed toward them.
Lin Kuang had no desire to deal with the crazy woman, but she blocked their path, leaving him no choice.
"You think you can hit me and just walk away? No chance! I'm telling you, you're not leaving here today unless you leave some body parts behind!" the woman screamed, instantly attracting the attention of all the nearby pedestrians.
Shielding Liu Shilin and Liu Shiyu behind him, Lin Kuang asked coolly, "What is it you want?"
"Whichever hand you used to grab my wrist, you'll leave it behind. As for that little slut, I'm going to turn her into 'Princess Flat-Chest'!" the woman snarled, her words dripping with venom.
"By yourself?" Lin Kuang's tone grew even calmer, with an icy edge to it.
If Lin Kuang's friends had been there, they would have recognized this as a sign of his impending rage.
"Why would I need to deal with you personally? Blackie, get out here!" the woman yelled.
At her cry, a bald man in a suit approached. He was a bulky, towering figure of at least two meters, with a powerful physique. Lin Kuang, at 1.8 meters tall, looked like a child before him.
"Second Sister-in-law, you called for me?" the brawny man named Blackie asked as he came to a stop before the woman.
"Mmhmm. We have a few here who are blind to their superiors. Take care of them," the woman said, her voice growing calm and assured now that Blackie had arrived.
"Yes, Second Sister-in-law," the man named Blackie replied, his gaze landing on Lin Kuang.
"Kid, are you going to do this yourself, or do I have to do it for you?" Blackie asked calmly, his fierce aura on full display. Combined with his ferocious expression, he was genuinely terrifying.
Liu Shilin and Liu Shiyu grew frightened. They instantly regretted not bringing their bodyguards. Against such a formidable giant, Lin Kuang's slender build would surely put him at a huge disadvantage.
"Lin Kuang, let's get out of here! I'll call for our bodyguards right now!" Liu Shilin said anxiously, worried he would get hurt.
Normally, the little Witch, Liu Shiyu, might have enjoyed seeing Lin Kuang in trouble. But this was different. After all, the incident was her fault, and she had only ever meant to tease him.
"It's fine. I can handle this," Lin Kuang said with a laugh.
"Hmph, don't bite off more than you can chew. That guy is huge. He could grab you like a little chick," Liu Shiyu muttered, clearly displeased, though deep down she was still worried about him.
Lin Kuang ignored the little Witch, his gaze fixed calmly on Blackie. Tilting his head up slightly to meet the giant's gaze, Lin Kuang said coolly, "Leave now, and I'll pretend this never happened. Otherwise, you will face the consequences."
Hearing this, the savage expression on Blackie's face grew even more hideous. "Kid, you're courting death! Let me show you how I deal with trash like you!" he snarled.
With that, Blackie's fan-sized palm shot out, clawing toward Lin Kuang's neck. He intended to grab Lin Kuang like a chicken and slam him hard onto the ground.
Seeing this, Liu Shilin and Liu Shiyu shut their eyes in terror. It's over.
A loud THUD echoed in their ears.
It's all over… He wasn't smashed to death by that, was he? the sisters thought at the same time. They opened their eyes, and in the next moment, they froze.
Before them, Lin Kuang stood serenely, as if he hadn't moved at all. In front of him, the muscular Blackie lay sprawled on the ground, his eyes closed. He had apparently fainted.
"Wh-what just happened?" Liu Shiyu couldn't help but ask.
"It's nothing. The problem's solved. We can go now," Lin Kuang said, turning back to them with a sudden smile that revealed two rows of pearly white teeth.
The onlookers would likely never forget what they had just witnessed. It was simply too shocking.
Just as Blackie's hand had shot out to grab Lin Kuang, Lin Kuang's own hand had lashed out, clamping onto the giant's wrist.
Just when everyone thought this was a case of a mantis trying to stop a chariot, Lin Kuang had demonstrated the true meaning of violent aesthetics.
With a sudden exertion of force, and to the utter disbelief of the crowd, he lifted the two- to three-hundred-pound behemoth clean off the ground with a single hand.
However, that wasn't even the most incredible part. As the onlookers stared, their mouths agape, Lin Kuang swung his arm, spinning the massive man through the air before violently slamming him onto the pavement.
This was what had happened.
Even now, the crowd was still staring in disbelief. The woman called "Second Sister-in-law" stood petrified, watching in a daze.
Hearing Lin Kuang's words, Liu Shilin and Liu Shiyu nodded blankly.
As they passed the woman, Liu Shiyu suddenly asked, "What about her?"
The little Witch was one to hold a grudge. She had heard the woman's threat loud and clear. She wanted to turn me into 'Princess Flat-Chest'!
Hearing this, Lin Kuang glanced at the trembling woman and said indifferently, "I don't like hitting women."
"Oh, is that so? In that case, allow me. If you don't like it, then I, this Young Miss, will do it for you!" Liu Shiyu said with a mischievous grin.
The next moment, the little Witch swung her hand and slapped the woman hard across the face.
The crisp sound was particularly piercing.
The woman's body shook as she staggered back several steps, nearly collapsing. The slap jolted her out of her shock, and just as she was about to lash out in anger, her eyes met Lin Kuang's calm gaze. For some reason, seeing his serene expression made her feel as if she were being stared down by a hungry wolf, and an uncontrollable shiver ran through her body.
Swallowing hard, the woman didn't utter a single word before turning and fleeing.
"Hmph! You ugly hag! Let's see you try to act tough in front of this Young Miss again!" Liu Shiyu sniffed, her tone full of unconcealed triumph.
What the little Witch didn't yet realize was that the fallout from this incident would not be settled so easily.
