There was no sound, there was no sudden motion, there was no disturbance in the space around them that made the white-haired individual aware of what had just happened.
And the worst part of it all is that there is no sign of even the smallest struggle from them as a powerful grip firmly wraps around their neck, lifting their entire body off the ground, and in front of them, a gaze, cold and unfeeling, completely locked onto their face.
As if that wasn't enough, the crimson-pupiled individual treated by the old stranger as a 'sacred being' is now incapable of moving any part of their body at all, their senses also dulled by the overwhelming pressure seemingly intent on bringing their body to its knees, or worse, slammed flat, onto the ground.
