"Let's get you checked," Leo suggested immediately, his voice calm but firm.
Bella wiped her lips and shook her head.
"It's nothing," Bella said, her voice dismissive.
Leo frowned.
"Bella," Leo said, his voice low.
"I'm serious. I probably just ate something that didn't suit me," Bella said, trying to brush it off with a small smile.
But Leo wasn't convinced.
Eli, who had been watching her anxiously, immediately joined in.
"Mumma, go doctor," Eli said, his voice urgent.
Bella looked at him.
"I'm fine, baby," Bella said, her voice soft.
"No, you're not," Jay said from behind him, his voice flat. "You literally just ran to the sink."
Bella gave him a helpless look.
"Everyone is making it sound worse than it is," Bella said, her voice tired.
Jay folded his arms.
"Because you are making it sound smaller than it is," Jay said, his eyebrow rising.
"I'll be fine," Bella said, her voice firm.
Leo's eyes narrowed slightly, but he didn't argue further.
At least, not then.
