Once they arrived at the estate, because that was what it was, Andrew was entranced. The winding, barely paved road led down to a beautiful stone fountain that was surrounded by carefully tended vegetation.
Beautiful flowers, wispy ferns, towering trees all local to the area. Birds called, others responded, and the sounds of the city were distant. Burbling sounds from the fountain filled the air as the cars were unloaded and the security team met up with the team in charge of the villa.
It was like a small piece of paradise.
Andrew was also stunned by the home. The villa, as Maxwell and the security team called it, had to be an older home built here decades ago. The fine details, the meticulous craftsmanship. It was a home right out of an old architect magazine. Something he was sure May would have enjoyed.
