Alfonzo fluidly dodged the flurry of punches Tatsuo threw at him in front of the main entrance of the USJ. However, despite the fact that they seemed to be in an intense quarrel, both Tatsuo and Alfonzo kept their attention trained on Aoyama Yuga, a known spy, to see if he would try to leak intel about Alfonzo's presence to All for One.
Meanwhile, the rest of Class 1-A watched Tatsuo and Alfonzo with dumbfounded expressions on their faces while Shota wished that he could be anywhere else. Even so, Class 1-A's homeroom teacher knew that he could not let this go on forever.
"Alright, that's enough." Shota said, stepping in front of the rest of the class. "Although I can completely understand how you feel, Soramoto, you can't try to hurt your teachers. But if you wait until the two of you get back home, no one will say anything."
"Got it." Tatsuo replied, his right fist stopping mid punch.
At the same time, with a smirk on his face, Alfonzo stopped dodging. A moment later, after Tatsuo lowered his fist, Alfonzo adjusted his trench coat before turning to address Class 1-A.
"Hey, everyone, I'm the Electromagnetic Hero: Static." Alfonzo said, introducing himself to the class. "And as of today, I will be a teaching assistant for your Foundational Heroics Class. Nezu hired me after seeing just how "amazing" All Might is as a teacher. So, I hope we get along."
While most of the students in the class, with the exceptions of Katsuki and Shoto, cheered at having such a high-ranked hero as a teacher, Alfonzo could imagine the members of Fairy Tail from his home universe that he trained during his childhood shuddering, despite the fact that they were all frozen in time while Alfonzo was on this [Mission].
'Yeah, this is gonna be fun.' Alfonzo thought to himself as his smile widened slightly. 'I bet none of these kids... Well, almost none of these kids have trained as hard as we did. And we were even younger than they are right now.'
After that, Alfonzo allowed the students to ask him a few questions about himself and his work as a Hero. Meanwhile, Tatsuo, Akatsuki, and Sakura huddled together to whisper to each other.
"I don't like that look in his eyes." Akatsuki whispered to Tatsuo and Sakura. "It feels like he's up to something sinister."
"I wouldn't put it past him." Tatsuo replied with a whisper of his own.
"*Sigh* I hope U.A. has a good psychologist on staff." Sakura said in the same tone as the other two. "There are probably going to be a lot of cases of PTSD by the time he's done."
Tatsuo and Akatsuki only nodded in response to Sakura's assessment.
At the same time, Shota, who had noticed the trio whispering, could not help twitching an eyebrow. Although he was not sure what they were talking about, seeing them whispering during Alfonzo's introduction and short Q&A session made him a bit uneasy.
"Alright, that's enough chit-chat." Shota said, ending the session rather quickly. "The clock is running. Let's go inside."
Then, without another word, Shota started walking towards the USJ's entrance, most of Class1-A following right after him. The only exceptions were Tatsuo, Akatsuki, and Sakura, who lingered at the back of the Class while watching Yuga to make sure he did not try to contact anyone.
Alfonzo joined the trio as they passed, sharing knowing glances before stepping through the doors of the USJ.
Upon entering the large dome-shaped building, the class stepped into a relatively normal–looking area with doors that led to a few waiting rooms. And if they were to walk forward, they would reach a set of stairs leading down to a central plaza with a fountain at its center.
Surrounding that plaza, there were six zones, each dedicated to a different type of disaster scenario ranging from a landslide zone, to a ruined city zone, to a flood zone. However, before the group even reached the plaza, they were greeted by the last of the teachers in charge of today's training.
This person stood at approximately 5'11" tall. However, thanks to their Hero costume, it was unclear whether they were male or female, as the black, full-face helmet with white eyes and puffy, white space suit-like design and yellow boots made it impossible to see their face or figure.
"Hello, and welcome to my Unforeseen Simulation Joint." The helmet-wearing Hero said, their voice changed by a modulator, which made it impossible to get a hint of their gender, as well. "I am the Space Hero: thirteen."
"All Might isn't here yet?" Shota asked after stepping forward to whisper to Thirteen.
"No, apparently he ran into quite a few crimes this morning." Thirteen replied quietly. "I doubt he'll be able to make it today."
"*Sigh* Why doesn't it surprise me that he couldn't let other Heroes handle it." Shota asked rhetorically. "Either way, since Static is here, things should be fine. He's probably a better teacher, anyway."
"Huh? Static is here?" Thirteen asked as they whipped their head in the direction of Class 1-A.
Standing there, at the end of Thirteen's line of sight, Alfonzo was waving cheerfully. He then mouthed a few words from the back of the group.
'You really need to change the design of your costume. You're really pretty. It's a shame to hide those good looks behind that helmet.'
Able to read Alfonzo's lips, Space Hero: Thirteen immediately blushed under her helmet.
As Alfonzo implied, under the costume that did not flatter anyone's figure was a woman. A rather tall woman with hazel eyes and two-toned hair, navy blue with a spiral patch of blonde, named Kurose Anan.
Seeing the way Anan began to fidget, Shota exhaled a tired sigh. Then, he looked up to the ceiling with dead eyes.
'Why can't anything in this school be simple?' Shota thought to himself. 'First, Nezu doesn't tell me that he's hired a new teacher for this class. Then, the new guy turns out to be the No. 3 Hero on the Hero Billboard. And lastly, he tells childish jokes and flirts with the other teacher. *Sigh* Well, at least he's a good enough replacement for All Might.'
From that point, things unfolded as they did in the canon with Ochaco gushing over her favorite Hero, Thirteen, Anan showing off her [Quirk] momentarily before explaining that [Quirks], although they can be used to hurt people, as Heroes, their [Quirks] were meant to save people. And just like in the canon, Anan's speech made many students very enthusiastic about today's rescue training.
Also, just like the canon, before the class could properly begin, a black mist appeared down the stairs in the center of the central plaza. However, that was where the similarities to canon ended.
*Snap!*
Hearing the snap coming from among them, all the students, as well as the teachers, Alfonzo, Shota, and Anan, looked in the direction the sound came from. When they did, they saw Tatsuo with his hand raised, clearly having just finished snapping his fingers.
"What is it, Soramoto?" Shota asked with an eyebrow raised.
"So... Uh... Someone is trying to teleport in." Tatsuo said as he lowered his hand to point at the plaza. "I just wanted to know if you were expecting something like that."
While the students were confused after hearing what Tatsuo had to say, Shota and Anan snapped their heads in the direction Tatsuo was pointing while Alfonzo quickly joined the other two teachers.
At the end of the three teachers' lines of sight was a roiling mass of purplish-black mist floating a few feet off the ground in the plaza.
"Is that some kind of [Warp Quirk]?" Anan asked.
"It must be if Tatsuo said someone was trying to teleport in." Alfonzo said solemnly. "That kid's ability when it comes to space is top-notch.
Nodding in understanding, Shota reached into his pocket to pull out his smartphone. He then quickly found Nezu's contact in his list of contacts and made a call. However, the call could not connect, causing Shota to frown.
"What's wrong, Eraser?" Anan asked.
"It seems signals have been jammed." Shota replied. "This is annoying."
After hearing that, Anan quickly reached for her own smartphone to call someone outside of the USJ. And just as Shota said, her call could not connect either.
"We should just send someone back." Alfonzo said while looking around. "Preferably one of the students. One that can run fast. Oh, hey, Anan, can I use some of the rebar from the ruins over there?"
"Call me Thirteen." Anan replied a bit bashfully. "And what do you need it for?"
"To set up a pen for whatever is trying to come through." Alfonzo replied while completely ignoring Anan's complaint about using her real name. He then looked back at Tatsuo as he continued. "Hey, Tatsuo. How many people are trying to come through that [Warp]?"
"No idea." Tatsuo replied. "It's not like I can sense through to the other side. Especially when I haven't even let it open all the way."
"Fair enough." Alfonzo replied with a shrug as he used his [Electromagnetic Quirk] to pull rebar out of the collapsed buildings in the ruins zone. "Well, can you restrict it so that no one will appear outside of my fencing?"
"Yeah, I can do that." Tatsuo said with a nod.
"Good." Alfonzo said with a nod of his own. "Then, just give me a second. I just hope they don't give up on trying to come through before I'm done."

"What are you doing, you idiot?" Shigaraki shouted angrily while vigorously scratching the side of his neck and glaring at Kurogiri.
"My apologies." Kurogiri replied. "It seems something is jamming my [Quirk]."
"How is that possible?" Shigaraki asked, clearly on the verge of throwing a full-blown tantrum. "This isn't how things are supposed to go! How are we supposed to kill All Might if we can't even fucking get there?"
"Please don't worry, Tomura-Kun." Kurogiri said. "I can feel whatever is locking me out of the USJ starting to weaken. I should be able to get us there shortly."
And just as Kurogiri said that, the mist that made up his body, which seemed to be struggling to expand, was beginning to expand slowly. And once the mist expanded, he would be able to [Warp] to where his mist in the USJ was along with everyone the mist covered.
Currently, Tomura, Kurogiri, one hundred twelve unremarkable villains, and two hulking humanoid figures were gathered in an abandoned warehouse near the bar Tomura and Kurogiri used as their hideout.
The reason the villains gathered with Tomura and Kurogiri were described as unremarkable was simple. Shigaraki and Kurogiri were not counting on them to do anything remarkable during this attack on U.A. In fact, their only task was to keep the students of Class 1-A busy while the two inhuman figures, the nomus, dealt with All Might, as the spy, Aoyama Yuga, had already relayed information that All Might would be teaching the current class, and testing the capacity of Tatsuo's [Quirk].
"The pathway is opening." Kurogiri said as the mist spread further and further.
Slowly, the mist Kurogiri used to [Warp] spread from just himself to Tomura. Then, it covered the two nomus. Next, it began to engulf the one hundred twelve villains. However, just as the mist covered ninety-six of the one hundred twelve villains, the mist stopped spreading, confusing both Kurogiri and the villains who were left out of the mist's range.
"What is this?" Kurogiri exclaimed in a confused tone.
"What's wrong now?" Tomura asked, his irritation clear for everyone to hear.
"I can't spread my [Quirk] to cover everyone." Kurogiri replied. "The space on the other side is being restricted. Some of the villains will be left out at this rate."
"So, what?" Tomura, with his patience already at its limit, barked angrily. "They're only cannon fodder, anyway. Just do it. And hurry up, you idiot!"
"As you wish." Kurogiri replied before triggering the [Warp].
While the unremarkable villains were not too happy to hear Tomura's assessment of their value, there was nothing they could do about it. Instead, all they could do was endure the strange feeling of being sent to another location.
Meanwhile, the villains who were not engulfed by Kurogiri's mist were left behind in the warehouse. Not knowing what to do, they exchanged unsure glances for a while.
"Hey… Wanna go grab a drink?" A man whose lower legs coiled into springs asked.
"Sure…" Another man with hollow, gun barrel-like fingers replied with a shrug. "It's better than just standing around here, anyway."
Just like that, the two left the warehouse. And when the other left behind villains saw this, they also decided to leave to do their own thing.
"*Sigh* We're not gonna get paid for this, are we?" A woman with day-glow green hair asked in a dejected manner as she stepped out of the warehouse.
"*Sigh* Probably not." Another woman, this one with fiery-red hair and embers flicking off its tips, replied as she patted the green-haired woman on the shoulder. "I know you only accepted a job like this to secretly fund your little brother's hospitalization. We'll just have to come up with another way for you to pay for it."
With that conversation, the final two villains stepped out of the abandoned warehouse, leaving it empty. However, once there was no one inside, the sound of a television being switched on could be heard throughout the empty warehouse.
{"Hmm… This probably isn't good."} A male voice said through the speakers of a monitor set up in the warehouse. {"I should probably start preparing to extract them… Something tells me things are not going to go as planned today."}
After that, a few seconds of silence passed. Then, the monitor shut itself off once again.
