Chapter 10 - #10 Uhhm... about the Timeline?!

Honestly after Evolving froma Gillain to an adjuchas stella felt a million times better.

Being gigantic had possessed certain advantages, but her Gillian body had been slow, clumsy and almost impossible to hide. Her new Adjuchas form was still large compared to a human, yet it was compact enough to move silently throughout the menos forest.

Stella lowered her body before pushing against the ground.

She crossed hundreds of metres in an instant and stopped beside a stone pillar. The sudden change in momentum caused her pointed legs to carve several deep trenches through the ground.

"Hahaha, this feels great!"

For what felt like the first time since becoming a Hollow, Stella could think without hunger clawing through every thought.

The desire to devour souls was still there obviously. but it no longer controlled her every action.

Her voice sounded clearer as well.

Less distorted.

More like herself.

Herself…

She could remember being human more clearly now.

She was a reincarnator, damn it how could she almost even forget that fact. Episodes of Bleach were playing one after another in her head. Names, battles, betrayals, and plot point she had once considered fiction.

The memories were incomplete, maybe about 80%, but they were no longer drowned beneath the countless screaming souls fighting inside of her mind.

"If I'm really in Bleach…"

Then knowing the timeline was more important than anything else.

She needed to determine what events had already happened.

Stella thought back to Mayuri Kurotsuchi.

His appearance had been unmistakable. The painted face, the arrogant voice, the complete lack of concern for anything resembling morality.

But something had been wrong.

Mayuri had not been wearing a captain's haori.

He had been part of the Twelfth Division, but he had not been its captain.

More importantly, he had not been imprisoned in the Maggot's Nest.

That narrowed things down.

Stella's eyes slowly widened.

"If Mayuri is free and serving in Squad Twelve, but he isn't captain…Then Kisuke Urahara should currently be the captain of the Twelfth Division."

'Which meant the Soul Society was somewhere within a relatively small period before Urahara's exile.'

"Mhh, since I have died, just barely under 10 years have passed… Sure felt like a lot more."

'I think bleach canon start in like the year 2000. Mayuri was freed like 110 years before canon and kisuke was exiled like 10 years later. So, the year I'm in is 1890 to 1900 somewhere, so I still have a hundred years to develop.'

Stella began pacing while she thought, her eight legs clicking against the stone ground.

"At this point, Aizen should still be pretending to be harmless. I think...?"

He might already be experimenting with Hollows and souls.

He might already possess the Hōgyoku, or perhaps Urahara had only recently begun developing his own.

Stella could not remember the exact chronology.

"Doesn't matter anyway, lets just check out the Soul Society directly."

With that she opened a portal to the soul society and traveled trough the garganta arriving in the outer Rukongai district 79.

The Garganta closed behind Stella.

Several thin souls dressed in torn clothing stared at her from the entrances of their homes.

Then they began screaming.

"IT'S A HOLLOW!"

"RUN!"

"GET AWAY FROM IT!"

One man abandoned the sack of food he had been carrying. Another shoved an elderly woman out of his way before disappearing between two buildings.

Within seconds, the street became empty.

Stella attempted to turn around.

Her eight pointed legs moved in different directions, causing her armoured abdomen to smash through the remains of a wooden cart.

She froze.

"Still getting used to that."

"HAHAHAHAHA!"

A violent laugh erupted from somewhere behind her.

"FOUND SOMETHING STRONG!"

Wild, bloodthirsty and completely uncontrolled spiritual pressure struck her a moment later.

Several damaged buildings collapsed as the ground beneath Stella's legs began to crack.

A vaguely familiar voice shouted from the distance.

Stella slowly turned.

A man charged down the road toward her.

His black hair was long and wild. Torn robes covered his muscular body, and an old sword rested across one shoulder. The blade was chipped along its entire length, as though he had spent years using it to strike rocks.

A small pink-haired girl sat on his other shoulder.

Stella barely had time to cross her claws in front of her body.

His chipped blade crashed against them.

BOOM!

Stella was thrown through three buildings before her pointed legs dug into the ground and stopped her.

Zaraki landed inside the crater he had created.

The pink-haired girl was somehow still sitting comfortably on his shoulder.

"Strong!" Zaraki shouted. "You didn't break!"

"Oh, fuck me."
