When Alex could see again, he found himself in a little house, sitting on a chair next to a coffee table.
Everything looked so familiar. The kettle on the coffee table looked so real, and the sound of boiling water could be heard.
It reminded him of one he used back on Earth, but he couldn't remember the person who taught him how to use it or who brought it to him in the first place.
Looking over to the left out the window, he could see a dark sky, with the city lights illuminating the whole block.
On closer inspection, there was a bookstore across the street, where he had vivid memories of reading a book from there.
His brain could still remember the exact content of the book, with all the lewd pictures depicted inside.
Yet weirdly enough, Alex couldn't remember how he entered the store, nor could he remember why he brought the book.
"Welcome, Alex... Do you remember your old name? Or anyone from the past?"
