Suddenly, a tear gas grenade was either thrown in the wrong direction or for some reason, landed in the Chinese restaurant, instantly causing chaos. Covering her mouth and nose, Xiao Qiao walked out, while Ah Gua sat there wailing. Xiao Qiao turned back to drag him outside, where a group of militia and protesters gathered, each armed. Ah Gua cried sorrowfully, reluctant, "Food, food..."
Xiao Qiao's face darkened, "Shut up!"
Ah Gua dared not speak but looked at Xiao Qiao with tearful eyes.
