The latter hurried over to his side and whispered:
"It seems to be a type of rapid-fire gun developed by the Austrians, Your Lordship. It uses a high-pressure air bladder to drive it, firing twenty shots in just half a minute.
"But it's got serious leakage problems—after three uses it needs an overhaul, still requires improvement."
Lord Hawkesburg immediately shook his head:
"Weapons on the battlefield must be mature. I believe we should continue to prioritize caplock guns."
Count Bellegrade hastily interjected: "Please trust me, this is absolutely a revolutionary weapon! In fact, we have already equipped a whole corps, only the production is still low because the process is so complex."
"So what are you suggesting?"
"We hope your country can participate in the development of the Wind Gun. Best would be an investment of 500,000 florins to expand its manufacturing facilities."
