The sun lazily crawled past its highest point, gazing down on the wild beasts running back and forth below the southern hills of Sasha Zoo, and casually scattering golden rays everywhere.
"Oh, God!" Mrs. Naselli stared at the brown bear licking its lips behind the double-layered fence, her face turning pale with fear as she backed away repeatedly. "No, no, we have to get out of here! This is too dangerous!"
Just now, the zoo staff had told the Naselli family that the lions, brown bears, and such here were all not kept in cages.
They'd have to sit on a rail car and ride right through the habitat of these rampaging beasts.
Mrs. Naselli was already suspecting the zoo was using this method just to save on animal feed.
The youngest Naselli boy, however, was making faces at the big bear with great excitement.
