Anyek, the point capital of the Galasia Kingdom, the city was ringed by cobblestone walls too high for even any human or beast to even fathom of climbing over. And if that wasn't enough the walls had strategically placed watch towers, each commissioned with one of the kingdom's most skilled marksman each equipped with the strongest bows and endless arrows. Any raid on the capital is nothing but a fool's dream. And if by sheer luck an enemy troupe got through, the capital's army and soldiers were masters in combat each and every one of them, from their weapons to their tactics. Anyek was truly Galasia's sword and shield of power.
All of this was thanks to the King, King Varcan. Though in rule for only three years, he improved the kingdom for the better. With marvelous advancement in the military after his introduction of Ambrosia, a miracle pill that increased a normal soldier's strength to match that nearly of ten men, followed by multiple successful peace treaties with other kingdoms. The People loved the King and the King loved his people.
But the King had a tendency of staying awfully long hours in his castle basement in the excuse of it being his best place of thinking. People didn't think much about it as all great men needed their solitude.
This afternoon was no different , the King made his way down the dark basement, lantern in hand as he descended the long spiraling stairs to the large wooden door of his 'study room'. As he was inside the room and struggled to close the wooden door he heard a voice behind him.
"You're Late." the voice sounded, Varcan was startled and looked behind him. His lantern shone onto a young lady who stood in the middle of the room. The woman was a true example of beauty as she had dark silky hair that framed her perfect face....almost too perfect. But her face was only a compliment to the seductive purple midi bodycon slip dress that hugged her body, revealing just enough to unsettle even the bravest hearts. She smelled of night blooming flowers, a fragrance that called attention.
Even Varcan got lost in her purple cold eyes for a moment before focusing back on what she said.
"My apologies, I was in a meeting with the Kingdom council....." Varcan whilst in the midst of explaining his situation was interrupted by a thunderous laugh that came from behind the woman. The woman rolled her eyes and moved aside to sit on a nearby table, revealing an antique full length mirror mounted along the wall. It had an old wooden frame around it with blue and purple color trims along it. But the actual mirror had multiple cracks along its surface, too many to even give a beneficial reflection. But this mirror wasn't used for the common use....
"You Fool acting like you actually do anything for this Kingdom. Don't make me laugh," The voice could be heard once more but with each word the cracks along the mirror would emit a purple light.
Varcan immediately went down on his knees as the woman clicked her tongue, her attention mostly on her nails . "My Apologies my Lord. I'm ready for any request that you may have." Varcan said with his head faced down on the ground.
"Jeez, you can kiss my ass another day, we have more trivial matters." The voice says as the woman and Varcan turn their gaze to the mirror." The Dark Child has Awaken..."

Aelipsia was now nothing but a shell of it's former self, with most of its forests now in a gluttonous flame that never seemed to be quenched and the effects of the previous raid still evident. The village that was stationed at the bottom of the hill was , as it was left , pillaged and destroyed. Buildings left in ruins and countless dead bodies all over. Some bodies even begun to rot attracting various insects, rodents, vultures and even crows. What was once a simple quiet village was now a breeding ground for scavengers.
Right in the middle of the village, is what looked like the village square as it had a huge bell tower, below were vultures that were feasting on a plus size unfortunate fellow, ripping flesh from bone and completing what is simply known as the circle of life. But just then the vultures heads shot up as they faced the top of the hill. Nothing happened, but just then they all started to fly away as the rodents themselves started scurrying away to hidden dark corners.
There was complete silence in the village for a good minute, before a distant whistle could be heard and a body crushed smack in the middle of the village. The descent of the body caused a fairly large crater that took down the little infrastructural structures that were still standing.
The body was none other than Jason who was evidently wincing in pain as he lay at the bottom of the crater, but the pain wasn't from the fall, it was from the uncontrollable rage he was experiencing. His body was aching all over and his vision was getting darker and darker as he struggled to remain conscious.
It was something about that thing Arthur pulled out, it was making him feel feral. But this wasn't the first time, it happened again once more and the last time it was in that cave.....
This was something new, something he could work with but answers once more were impossible to get, as he would need to talk with Arthur who wasn't in a very conversant mood at the moment. And currently everything inside Jason was telling him to be far away from him at all means.
He squinted his eyes as he looked at the glazing afternoon sun which was suddenly covered by what looked like a large bird shadow. That's when Jason came around and finally realized it was Arthur coming at him directly with his saber right in front of him. Jason thought fast and was able to use Shadow Walk
Shadow Walk: Was a skill that allowed Jason to walk through shadows almost as a teleportation method.
But due to his current state, he could barely go far and he landed right onto what one may assume was formerly a a fruit stall. Jason struggled to grab his breath as he crushed onto the stall, that took more out of him than it should have, as he coughed up blood. But he still had to get away from Arthur, he reminded himself as he struggled to walk away. Meanwhile Arthur crushed into the chasm making it larger as a dirt cloud formed from his impact, he was infuriated that he missed his target but seems he didn't go far.
Arthur walked out the crater, saber still in hand, he's new form was a true show of raw power. Arthur himself felt stronger, more than he should but that didn't matter, he had to kill his teacher for now. He's eyes landed on the pathetic form of Jason as he struggled to limp away from him. Arthur smirked as he walked towards him as he fired up his flames.
Jason on the other hand was struggling with every step Arthur took, his vision getting darker and darker. He desperately tried to walk away, but it was just proving more difficult and painful.
Arthur clenched his saber, "What's wrong old man, Are you running away now?! HUH?!!!" Arthur said in rage as his flames flared up with each intonation. Jason fell on the floor and turned to Arthur, "Get away," Jason silently tried to tell Arthur
But Arthur simply laughed, "You think I'll let you get away again, I'm not making that mistake again," Arthur said as he raised his saber, runes appeared along the blade as he faced the tip towards Jason. Phoenix screech.
He fired the first blast but Jason shadow walked right on cue and the blast took a good chunk out of a two storey building reducing it to rubble. Jason appeared once more a few meters away from where Arthur shot but he could barely stand and crushed to the ground as he even proceeded to cough up blood. It looked like his own body was fighting against him, a battle that Jason's mind clearly wouldn't win. Arthur on the other hand powered up another Phoenix Screech. But Jason shadow walked again causing Arthur to shoot at him once more. This sequence went on two more times before Jason got hit square on his chest. His body crushed into the side of the bell tower. His shadow abilities didn't work anymore, he was completely drained now. All he had left now was the atrocious headache that was banging on his skull and the feeling of his own body eating itself from inside.
Arthur had him cornered, as he started to get closer and closer. "Stay Back Please!" Jason croaked out as with each step Arthur got closer he was losing more and more of himself to.....something...
"Sounds like something my sister said in that cave and guess what. I'm damn sure you didn't listen to that ." Arthur responded in a deep suited voice of rage. But along his cheeks were sparkles of tears, he didn't want to kill Jason, but for his sister's life there was no other choice. He charged up his arcanum along the edge of his sword as he got closer and closer to the cornered Jason.
Jason on the other hand could barely even see now, he's vision was getting blurry and his muscles wouldn't stop spasming. This was it, he couldn't hold it back anymore. "I'm Sorry Arthur." He croaked out as his conscious left him.
Arthur barely made out what Jason said as he proceeded to swing his sword as the built up power came out as a blue vast slash. Wave of Flames. The Slash whizzed though the air as it made contact with Arthur's lower body and proceeded to take down the bell tower as well. The whole structure came crumbing down as well as the gigantic bell that landed right on top of the rubble.
Arthur sighed out as he relaxed his shoulders. It was done. He couldn't feel Jason's life force anymore, he was dead. "It was for the Kingdom." Arthur counselled himself. He suddenly fell to his knees. It appears the effects of the purple pill were starting to wear off. It proved helpful as it helped him put Jason down, he even carried three just incase one wasn't enough. But Arthur couldn't help but wander why Jason seemed....lost during the second half of their battle.
But that was neither here nor there, Jason was dead, he had to report this back to Headquarters, he was a wanted and hated criminal, no one in the kingdom would miss him or care anyways. Arthur stood up and turned around to leave.
Just then the sky got dark as a huge gust of wind blew through the land, any creature or animal still hidden around now straight up started running away from the village. Heavy clouds filled the sky as they rumbled and cried.
Arthur was confused and instantly put his guard up. The clouds finally unable to hold their contents started pouring, The droplets hit along the ground and onto Arthur's armor as well, that's when he noticed it.....it wasn't water but blood. The moment the drops hit the ground Arthur got hit with a massive wave of power, The wave was strong enough to even push him back. he traced the surge back to the rubble where Jason's dead body should have lay. "Impossible...." Arthur said in disbelief.

Back at the Castle, through the small window on the wall of the palace basement the individuals noticed as the sky got dark. And even as it was covered in clouds there was one more thing that was prominent and that was the Large Red Moon that shone down.
The cracks of the mirror along the wall started started shining its purple light even brighter, as the mirror itself was happy with what was happening outside.
"Your new Demon King is here, The Blood Prince......."
