"grandma, grandma, I'm home!" Exclaimed a young boy in excitement, he entered the house, running to find the whereabouts of his old grandmother.
As he entered the living room, slowing down a bit he looked around the room left then right and after confirming his grandmother wasn't there he exited the living room and entered the kitchen.
He entered the kitchen, and after giving the area a simple glance he concluded that no one was there and turned around to walk away but as his left foot raised to walk away....
"R..Ryo..." the sound of a familiar woman's voice echoed throughout the kitchen.
Ryo POV:

As I turned to walk away, the voice I heard.., a voice so familiar to me yet so strange.
The voice I knew yes, but the way the words was spoken as if the person was struggling to form complete words, struggling for air... Made it sound so foreign to me.
"Yes?" I answered.
"Come over to me cough, cough" the person replied in a raspy voice
I turned around and cautiously made my way to the other side of the kitchen counter through the gap that separated the counter from the wall. Hesitantly I stepped making my way to the other side. The closer I got to the other side of the counter it was the more I felt my blood growing cold,my pores rasing, my heart tightening and only when I reached the other side of the counter did I understand the reason my heart felt so suffocating and who the voice belonged to.
On other side time seemed to freeze, my heart stopped my breath seemed to be hitched, my eyes widened and in that moment nothing mattered to me. Nothing besides the woman on the floor.
That woman was, the woman that had raised me my entire life, the person I cared for the most, the only person that I could call family.... My grandmother.
I stood there staring at the woman's body on the ground lost, not knowing what I should do but noticing the dark red blood covering the white tiled floor, the body that was surrounded by the red liquid and most of all the completely still body. Well except for the lips. I couldn't help but to be in a shocked trance.
'Wait the lips' Snapped out of my shocked state I ran over to my grandmother's bloody body.
"Gr, grandma...!!" I said slowly lifting her head to put my hand under it.
*cough, cough* was the only response i got."Grandma what happened, what should I do?"
"Ryouto my boy" said my grandmother as she placed her hand on my face, while tears flowed down her cheeks.
"Ryouto it'll be a long time till you see me again, so don't be scared, yes I know life isn't fair but it isn't bad either, there will be lessons to learn from the bad so live it to your fullest, enjoy forging bonds, friendships and keep living life your way and when the time is right at end of the river we'll meet once again. So until then.." As the last word left her mouth her hand fell from my face, the light that was already dim in her eyes completely faded. There was complete still for just a moment and then like river my tears flowed endlessly, my body began to shake uncontrollably and a loud wail came from my mouth
"Arghhhh, why why" I sobbed repeatedly wondering why it had to be like this, what did my grandmother ever do? Who was behind this. Questions I couldn't even think to formulate just appeared in my mind as if they own it and I could do nothing but sit and sob.
Half an hour later
Still in the same position, crouched next to my grandmother my knees on the hard tiles, lost in my thoughts tears dried on my face, eyes red and body still until I felt a shake and then another shake. Slowly I turned my head to see a officer in his police uniform and several other officers behind him.
"Leave me alone." I said sadness dripping out from my words.
"No kid we have to get you out of here and figure out who did this" the officer replied sounding gentle but firm
"No, leave me alone!!" I shouted and unknowingly a purple energy surrounded my entire body and the man hand began to disintegrate. Seemingly corrupted by the energy.
"Ahhhhh" the officer screamed looking at his hand that had nearly been disintegrated. ' What just happened, I didn't mean to hurt him, should I apologize? No! he should've left me alone.'
"Hey kid calm down your ability is reacting to your emotions, my name is Earl maybe we could talk" Another officer stepped forward trying to calm me down.
"No leave me alone!!" I shouted again trying to get them to leave and my power responded by bursting out destroying the tiles under my feet.
"Kid if you don't calm down you'll destroy her body!" Earl the officer that stepped forward earlier shouted. Hearing this however made me calm down and look at my grandmother's body and the man's hand. I then silently began walking towards a corner in the room, sat down on the tile and curled my body up into a ball with my head resting on my knee. My body shaking back and forth.
3rd POV:
"He's still just sitting there, huh.." "Yeah he hasn't moved a muscle and everyone's scared so they won't even try to talk to him." A female officer responded looking at Ryouto with simpity and worry.
"It's been three hours since we got here we have no idea what happened, the crime seems as though it was well organized. According to the school the boy goes to he was there until school was over so he was probably just coming home by the time the crime took place but there is a chance he could have been here when the crime took place as well, so we'll have to question him but in his state.." Earl said speaking his thoughts out loud. " Hey Earl why don't you go talk to him" Hana said " No Hana he won't talk to me it's best if we get someone he's comfortable with here to talk to him."
" And who would that be?" Hana asked
" My son" Earl said in a deadpan tone
"Your son??" Hana asked confused " yeah my son happens to go his school and is in the same class so I hope they at least know each other otherwise it's a lost cause." Earl said hoping for the best.
Soon Earl's son was dropped of by Earl's wife, he then began explaining the situation to his son and coming up with a plan.
"So dad you want me to try to talk to him and at least get him to explain what happened?"
" Yeah that's basically it Jin, also if he starts glowing purple get away as fast as you can okay son?" "Yeah sure thing dad." Jin said as he began walking towards Ryouto.
Soon he reach just besides Ryouto and sat besides him. "Hey man, my name's Jin, I'm one of your classmates although you probably don't know me." Jin said trying to make a conversation with Ryouto, and surprisingly Ryouto stopped shaking turned to him eyes still red and said. " Yeah I know you, but I think you should stay away from me" Ryouto said voice cold and sad " Oh yeah why is that?" "Because I could hurt you" " I ain't scared so what if I get hurt." Jin said as he stretched his hand to touch Ryouto's shoulder and when he did nothing happened. Unlike before with the unknown officer Ryouto didn't want to send away Jin he instead felt a strange comfort from Jin's presence.
"So hey my dad wanted to know what happened before they got here if you don't mind telling me of course." Jin said nervously.
As Ryouto heard Jin's words flashbacks played in his mind bringing back his sadness but he didn't loose himself in despair this time instead he tried to stay calm by breathing slowly and started to explain to Jin what happened.
