After leaving Baiyue County, Ye Xunhuan took Wu Mei straight toward Baise Airport.
For Baiyue County, Baise Airport counted as the closest airport. Even though Baise Airport couldn't fly directly to Yanjing, it could get them to Jinmen!
So Ye Xunhuan planned to transfer from Jinmen to Yanjing with Wu Mei. They'd lose some time on the way, but there was no helping it.
Because Wu Mei was pregnant now, Ye Xunhuan's entire mind was on her, and he didn't notice that someone was secretly tailing them.
Wu Mei herself was weighed down with worries. After all, they were heading back to the capital, and she might run into Qiu Ruoxi. Her heart was in chaos, so she also had no idea someone was following them.
The two of them sat in the car without saying a word, making the atmosphere inside the car slightly heavy.
The man driving them away, the one sending Ye Xunhuan and Wu Mei off, also kept his mouth shut.
