"Good morning."
The next morning, Kai slowly opened his eyes at the moment when Shino's sweet voice whispered from his left side. Almost at the same time, a tender kiss landed on his right cheek, as Ryuko's voice whispered warmly.
"Good morning, sweetheart…"
"Good morning… Though it seems more like you haven't slept…" Kai whispered in a soft voice as he looked at the slightly red eyes of the pair of beauties, who smiled guiltily before responding.
"Pretty much all of us are in the same boat; it's just that sleep finally got the better of the others…" Ryuko whispered while drawing circles on Kai's chest. Shino, behind the sleeping Nemuri, commented softly.
"Yeah, just an hour ago Nemuri finally fell asleep."
"Looks like someone else stayed awake too…"
Kai murmured as he lowered his gaze, where he could see movement under the blanket. Ryuko lifted the blanket to reveal Tomoko, who was about to pull down Kai's pants with a mischievous smile, and she remarked in an annoyed voice.
"This thieving cat slept all night like a baby."
"You guys couldn't sleep?" Tomoko asked in an innocent voice, without stopping the movement of her hands. But at that moment, Shino and Ryuko grabbed her by the wrists to stop her, and Shino remarked in a serious tone.
"None of that, lady. Your libido might be because the pregnancy has thrown your hormones out of whack, but you have to hold back; that could harm the baby."
"That's right, and besides, today we have to go to the doctor, and afterward we have to talk to Chatora to break the news and figure out what we're going to do. So we're going to be very busy."
Ryuko added in an equally serious tone as she looked at Tomoko, who opened her eyes in disbelief and then turned to look at Kai, asking on the verge of tears, as if the world were crumbling beneath her feet.

Tomoko murmured with a somewhat guilty and evasive expression, at which point a soft, pleasant giggle echoed through the room. Right after, Nemuri's amused voice rang out in a whisper.
"Looks like your nymphomania has nothing to do with the pregnancy, but I get it; our Kai is too 'delicious.'"
"Too, too delicious…" Tomoko murmured in a soft, excited voice before licking Kai's neck. She then asks with lustful eyes while moving her hips to rub against her beloved.
"Kai, I want a quickie. I'm itching for it…"
At that moment, a melodious yawn rang out from the right, leading everyone to look over, finding Momo with a hand covering her mouth. For her part, Momo, visibly drowsy, gave Kai a tender kiss on the lips before sitting up in bed and stretching while speaking in a tired voice.

"Are you texting someone?"
"Yeah, Nezu and my assistant. I'm telling them I won't be going today." Kai replied in a calm voice as he typed on his phone. Momo turned to look at Kai and asked in a surprised tone.
"You're not coming? Is that why you don't have your uniform on?"
"Yeah, today I'm going to accompany the Pussycats." Kai replied calmly as he put away his phone. As everyone turned to look at her, Tomoko commented with a cheerful smile.
"You don't need to skip class; we can go by ourselves!"
"Yeah, you can." Kai remarked in a calm tone before getting up and walking toward the stairs while casually adding.
"I'll go change; I won't be long."
The girls kept staring at Kai's back until he disappeared, at which point they turned to look at Tomoko, who was holding her flat stomach with both hands while gazing at the stairs with the smile of a lovestruck fool.
But while all the girls wore conflicted expressions, Nemuri held her chin with one hand as she gazed with flushed cheeks at the stairs where Kai had disappeared. However, after a few moments, Momo, trying to control the dark feeling that wanted to form in her heart, looked at Tomoko and remarked with a small smile.
"On second thought, I'd like to at least go with you to the doctor, Tomoko."
"I'd like to go with you too, but you all know the launch is tomorrow, and I'm super busy." Yumiko soon added in an apologetic tone that concealed a hint of bitterness. Keiko, sitting beside her, nodded calmly before adding in a more relaxed, lighter voice.
"Yeah, it's a shame; we're going to be pretty busy today."
"I'll call Ryukyu to tell her I'm not coming! I want to hear what the doctor says!"
"Don't worry, girls, you don't have to rearrange your schedules for me." Tomoko replied with a beautiful smile on her lips and added.
"There's no better doctor than Kai, and if he says the baby and I are fine, then we couldn't be better; don't worry!"
"… Then have them do the official pregnancy test and bring the results; it'd be nice to have them as a keepsake." Momo let out a very subtle sigh laden with conflicting emotions before speaking with a warm smile.

Feeling a bit guilty, Momo coughed a couple of times as she looked at the clock on the wall, at which point she stood up and remarked hurriedly.
"Look at the time; we have to leave right now, Nejire!"
"You're right! Let's go!" Nejire jumped up when she saw the time and soon ran off after Momo.
Meanwhile, Nemuri, the only one who chose to stay quiet, watched Momo's back with a hint of concern in her eyes before looking at Tomoko and commenting with a smile.
"And I have to get going too. Make sure to bring the results; we have to frame them properly."
"We're heading out too." Keiko stood up and soon left with Yumiko after saying goodbye, leaving Shino, Ryuko, and Tomoko. The latter asked as she looked at the clock, a little confused.
"It's still very early…"
"For a direct trip, yes. But it's obvious they're going to make a stop." Shino remarked with a calm smile, which led Tomoko to look at her in confusion. With an understanding smile, Ryuko stroked Tomoko's hair and explained calmly.
"They're all going to stop by a pharmacy first to buy pregnancy tests…"
"I see…" Tomoko finally murmured with understanding and then looked at her pair of good friends before asking in a more serious, lower tone.
"Are you two going to do it too?"
"Of course. We do believe in Kai, but…" Ryuko commented in a thoughtful voice, and Shino soon added with a small sigh.
"It's really hard to sleep in peace without killing off every last shred of hope…"
