Chapter 16 - Part 20

Long ago the imp fought his hardest against the devil although all of his efforts was meaningless as he was no match. The devil laughed as he charged up his final blow, ready to rid hell of the imp type demons.

Maestro looked around, analyzing his surroundings. He stated that this is the place from his nightmares. Sylvester laughs at the thought of nightmares since demons didn't need to sleep. Maestro was surprised by this new information. Sylvester then explained that the only reason a demon would go to sleep is to recover energy. Maestro was confused, stating that should be the main reason for anybody to sleep. Sylvester's eyes opened in shocked as he realized the misunderstanding. He then states that they sleep when they're completely drained on energy, and pass out. Stating that they don't get tired like humans do. He walks pass Maestro while telling him that they should get moving before they attract unwanted guests. Suddenly Maestro's head started to hurt as the voice tells him that he's getting closer. Maestro gets up, and agrees with Sylvester's statement as he passes him up. Sylvester chuckled as he starts walking besides him.

As they were walking, Maestro asked Sylvester what he knew about demons dying, and being reborn as humans. Sylvester responded that he's never heard of such a thing. He was then hit with sudden realization. He looked over, and asked Maestro if that's what had happened to him. Maestro exhaled in disappointment then nodded his head in agreement. Sylvester's curiosity grew even more as he starts to smile. He asked Maestro what he did to gain a second life. Sylvester then knew that he didn't have an answer since he kept quiet, and started looking downwards. Sylvester then decided to ask something else instead. He asked him if he knew how he died, and Maestro didn't have an answer to that either. Sylvester started making physical gestures of anger while holding back his words. Maestro's lack of memory was now starting to aggravate Sylvester. He stopped to think to himself. Thinking of what he could do to get the answers he want. Maestro turned to look at him, seeing how determined he was. Sylvester then got an idea which he thought was perfect. He knew the right demon to help them both out. He tells Maestro that they're making one more stop. Maestro was confused, and asked why. Sylvester responded to not worry about it. That it'll help him with his headaches. Due to the headaches being rather bothersome, Maestro agreed. He then asked where they'd be going. Sylvester had simply just shushed him then stated that he should save the questions for later. Stating they might trigger another headache, or something. Maestro nodded, and the two kept walking.

Later on, the two would eventually reach a cave. Maestro decided to break his silence, and asked about said cave. Sylvester responded that they're in the domain of the only demon he was never able to trick. Hearing this had confused Maestro once again as he didn't understand what he meant by that. Although shortly after, the two then started to hear sounds coming from inside the cave. The sound gets louder, and Maestro recognizes it, thinking about electricity. A silhouette appears in the distance approaching them slowly. Maestro struggled to see the demon, but could definitely see the electricity around him which confirmed his earlier thought. As the silhouette emerged from the shadows Maestro noticed he was walking on all fours, and was a wolf like demon. His fur was mostly black with yellow fur shaped as lightning bolts. His fur was also spiked up due to the static from his electricity. His eyes glowed yellow as he stares at the two. Maestro was both confused, and scared as he looks over to Sylvester. Seeing this Sylvester then introduces the wolf to Maestro referring to him as a hell hound. However, the demon started to growl before talking. He tells them that he has reached a level beyond a normal hell hound. After stating this, he stands up on two legs which surprises Maestro even more. Sylvester then finished his introduction stating that the hell hound was named Razor the demon of manipulation.

Maestro stared at Razor in curiosity. He then asked why he was called the demon of manipulation. Razor growled angrily then stated that he didn't need to explain himself to some hybrid. Both Maestro, and Sylvester's eyes widened in shock. Sylvester then commented on how Razor immediately noticed Maestro's situation. Also stating how he was definitely the right demon to help them. Razor looked at Sylvester, staring at him coldly. Sylvester then nervously grabbed Maestro stating that the boy needed his help. That he had some mental issues to sort out. Razor stared seriously at Maestro then started to growl. He slowly approached Maestro which caused him to feel uneasy. As two stand face to face to each other, Razor stopped growling then agreed to Sylvester's request. He then states that he will figure out who Maestro truly is.
