The three of them are shocked about what they sees on their status window, there was the kobolds finally caught up with them.

Claude Gen is surprised when they saw their status window, Rein, however noticed the kobolds are getting close to them
"what the- I got all three types of spiritual arts? ...but first let's run again and hide to know how to use this abilities and skills" Claude were alarmed however he decided it was wiser to hide for now.
"... magic cultivation and my affinity is light and darkness and my occupational is sword mage isn't this all special type on games?".
On Gen side, he was very trilled as he got some Good abilities, however the enemy is getting closer to them therefore Rein suggested.
"l-let's run! they are getting closer or were gonna get caught".
They ran desperately then Claude sees an abandoned mansion, he thought that the mansion might have useful things for them.
"there's an abandoned mansion over there let's go and hide.
The three of them runs and hides on the abandoned mansion, While the kobolds monsters and their leader is searching for them.
The three of them shut themselves on a room of the abandoned mansion with broken things and growing fungus and grass everywhere, As they finally got a Rest Gen And Claude Were very tired and exhausted. Rein, however seems to have more energy to run.
"t-that was exhausting~" Said Gen gasping for air
"yes running that much may give me body pain'' Claude added
"huh well my body is well trained so I'm not that tired so leave the guard on me" Rein sees them out of strength, therefore he has to guard them while they are checking their status window to gain more information.
"thanks" said Gen, appreciating Rein's reliability.
"open status" *the status window opened* "hmmm... My abilities is" mana growth and 'sword wielding' putting the sword wielding aside, the mana cultivation may be useful and powerful since I can increase my mana effectively" said Gen gleefully.
Gen opened his status as he reads all of his abilities and skills and share it to his companions. Henceforth Claude and Rein did next.
"mine is... 'self spiritual dominance' I guess that means I can accurately control my spirit even if I were possessed by a ghost or something?" said Claude confused by its meaning.
"we'll mine is kinda~ unique, the ability name its 'life force occupation (1/5)' to be exact I don't understand what it is" said Rein scratching his head to comprehend his powers.
Rein life force occupation is really weird however Gen said it may be powerful.
"I guess that means you can occupy four more life force I guess?" Gen stated his thoughts.
"Gen may be right, I guess that ability of yours is to have multiple life force about five maximum" Claude commented believing for the exact same thing.
"Really it's kinda a weird ability, Well putting that aside how can we escape this situation the monsters might find us anytime".
However their situation is still very dangerous as Rein said the enemy might find them.
"I don't know right now I feel there's nothing I can do... oh! my sword wielding ability! if I have a something that can be used as a sword maybe I can help" Gen suggested eager to test his skill.
However Gen does not know how to use his ability and he though the sword wielder skill might be useful however he didn't even held a real sword before.
On Claude side he didn't really know how to activate and use his ability and skills.
"on my state I have three useful skills called, summoning, sorcery and spirit fusion, However I don't know how to use them". disappointed at himself for being clueless as the usual smart guy.
Rein were Just as the same as Claude, he also doesn't know how to use his ability.
"then I guess only Gen would be useful right now since my skills are body enhancement it should be useful right now however just like Claude I can't use them".
"ehhh! But I don't have a sword on the first place I didn't even held a sword before!".
Gen were shocked hearing Rein says that they have to rely on Gen, because he was just a normal person a while ago.
"but there's nothing we can do but trust your skill, don't worry i watch your back" Rein recommended his plan.
"anyway you two should find a weapon and other useful stuff while let me learn about my abilities and skills"
Claude asked them to find something useful and he should think and analyze about his skills and how to use it, the two agreed.
Gen and Rein explore further to the mansion looking for useful stuff such as weapon etc... while Claude tried to do his best to know about his abilities and skills. However he just can't get the concept about spiritual arts, because this involves spiritual things moreover in another world, since he excels at science, mathematics and physics things without logic were not in his interest.
Therefore Claude is having a hard time knowing about the spiritual arts because he cannot believe in spirits. Claude already knows the meaning of spiritual arts because of the knowledge bestowed upon them from the Transcendents however Claude really can't get the spirit energy like how to enable it and use it.
While Rein focuses on finding a weapon to use. He saw the kobolds finally got into the mansion. Rein rushed to find a useful stuff such as weapons to use.
On Gen side. as he was searching he begins to try magic excitedly, forgetting the trauma of kobolds. Gen tried to focus as the Gods gave them the information before so he already got the concept of magic and Gen uses his knowledge about games, webtoons, animations and his imagination of how to use it.
While Rein is on a hurry, the kobolds are finally inside the abandoned mansion. therefore he thought that he must find something useful on a short amount of time.
And so Rein ran around visiting each rooms, after searching desperately he finally finds something useful, on a dusty room he finds an abandoned sword and a shield on a dead skeleton. Rein took the sword and shield out of the skeleton out of rush while excusing to the dead.
While Claude is still stuck on how to use the spiritual arts even though he had the knowledge bestowed from the transcended, he couldn't get the feeling on how to enable it.
The kobolds are finally close to Claude and about to attack them and then Rein finally appears holding a sword and shield.
*Blocks
"krrrrrr graaaaarr!!!" the kobold screamed menacingly
Rein bravely faced the kobolds by his sword and shield, since the kobolds are small creatures he can hold them off to protect Claude.
The kobolds hesitates to attack because of the harmful sword on Rein's hand, however the leader came that is much larger and stronger than a regular human.
While Gen is still exploring on magic with his imaginations and knowledge, he began to feel mana a little, Gen feels like his mind is surrounded by thoughts and he feels body less and mentally full because the magic is activated on how Flexible your mind and imagination is, since he did felt it he got thrilled to the point of erasing his feelings of danger.
"finally!"
Gen uses his imagination about a dark magic he remembered, one of those games that has a dark magic spell called shadow bind a spell that binds a target with shadow hands appearing from darkness.
"shadow bind!" he screamed
The magical energy reacted however it only created a small shadow that appeared on the ground with a form of a circle. the whole room was quite as the tiny shadow vanished then suddenly Gen hears Claude shouting his name.
"GEEENNN!!!!!"
Gen rushed to their location and sees Rein holding again the leader of kobolds thrice than his size.
In this moment Rein unconsciously use the life force arts and his skill "body enhancement" so Rein was able to hold against the kobolds leader.
"Gen hurry! The sword take it!"
"!!! Graaaaaaaargg!!!".
The sound of the Kobolds leaders howl echoed to the whole mansion as it calls it's minions.
Gen hurried leaped and catches the sword. He got into a sword stance unconsciously because of his past 8th grade syndrome, however the sword wielder skill was active, without hesitating Gen slashed vertically and Stabbed the Other kobolds coming to him while Rein is holding the leader with a shield.
*slash *slash *stab "this number... there's too much!, i wish those gods put us in a more safe place! damn it!". said Gen complaining about their first experience coming to this world.
However the kobolds leader is overpowering Rein and finally Rein got knocked out.
"damn it!!!" said Gen for the second time.
with its huge arms and claws, the kobold leader strikes Rein shield, knocking out Rein from the impact.
When the kobolds leader finally got through Rein, he leaped to Claude with it's sharp claws, at that time Claude would died, however Gen suddenly screamed.
"SHADOW BIND!!!!"
The shadow appears under the kobold leader and the dark tentacles came out and binds the kobold leader, Pulling it downwards and preventing it to move.
the monster screamed in annoyance.
However Gen suddenly feels tired and mentally hurt, that he might collapse and fall asleep therefore he thought that he should pass his sword to Claude.
"Claude!!! My sword!!"
Gen threw the sword to Claude as Gen falls unconscious due to using mana.
Claude catches the sword and Stabbed the Kobold leader directly to it's chest without hesitation.
"Aaaaaaa!!!" *Stab.
The sword pierced through the chest of the Kobold leader and later on it died, however there's still a hundred of kobolds left and they are out of breath.
Claude hoped that someone will save them. Even Claude who can solve most of his problems by himself alone, he began to wish for somebody's aid, however he already thought that no one would come to save them.
"as if someone would come in this ruins"
When they are finally surrounded by kobolds Claude feels a warm light embracing him the light formed and turned into a humanoid creature that shines so bright even it isn't night yet and warned them and it made all the kobolds run back off.
"be gone!" its deep soft angelic voice pierced through the existence of the remaining monsters and ran away by its sheer presence.
A pillar of light surrounds the place that pierce through the sky and brightens the whole area on where they are, and the kobolds runs away in desperation as they detected danger and death.
Claude sees a glimpse of the human light face however he was too tired and mentally exhausted therefore he fell unconscious.
In the light of the predicament, nearby there are Knights that's is scouting on this ruins however the knights saw the pillar of light appeared from the abandoned mansion.
"what? What is that?" knight 1.
"it might be a hero who is fighting a demon!" knight 2.
"as if.... let's go and find out" knight 3.
The Knights started to march forward the mansion from far away to see what's happening in such deserted place.
When the knights arrive, and all they saw is only three boys laying on the ground unconscious and exhausted.
"there are only kids?"
"no take them we must ask them some several questions, take them!".
The Knights took the three to their camping site tied by ropes.
the night comes where Gen is finally awake seeing he is properly tied up to a wooden pillar. he sees Rein and Claude also tied up on his sides, he whispered to wake them up.
"hey Rein, Claude wake up~"
When all of them is finally conscious, they started to wonder what is happening and why are they tied up and inside an unknown place, in a tent.
The three of them began rest a little because they are still tired, However a knight saw them finally awake and the knights called the others.
"guys the kids are now awake!!!"
"ohhooo then let's start the interrogation"
"urgh our Captain is scary!"
