The Cheng family had never seen Old Master Cheng so delighted; it was true joy, evident in the way he looked at little Cheng Su, filled with light, affection, and excitement.
Even though the family repeatedly urged him to return to his room to rest, Old Master Cheng flatly refused, saying, "Seeing this child has cured my illness; why should I lie down anymore? When my time comes, I'll have plenty of time to lie down."
Listening to these ominous words, everyone couldn't help but laugh.
"Today is a good day, we should be happy. How can you say such things, Master?" Sister-in-law Cheng chuckled.
"Okay, no saying unhappy things." Old Master Cheng gestured to little Cheng Su: "Come over to grandpa."
Little Cheng Su clung to Cheng Su, reluctant to leave. Even when Old Master Cheng called her, she pursed her lips, hesitating to go over.
Cheng Su whispered something in her ear, and only then did she walk over.
