His voice was low, almost amused yet undeniably strained.
Annihilus emerged fully from the kaleidoscopic distortion behind him. His new wings gleamed with freshly restructured cosmic alloy, still steaming from their regeneration. The Cosmic Rod pulsed in his grasp, each throb sending vibrations through the void like a heartbeat in a dead universe.
His mandibles clicked.
"Boy."
The word came layered in several cosmic languages.
"You thought yourself untouchable."
Gojo looked down at the spike embedded in his chest.
Then he exhaled, long and slow.
"No… not untouchable."
His lips curled into a faint smile.
"Just hard to schedule an appointment with."
Annihilus didn't understand the humor but the pressure around them shifted.
A wave of killing intent rolled off the cosmic tyrant, crushing distant starlight, bending the darkness into writhing shapes. His wings unfolded, each feather a blade of hyper-compressed annihilation energy.
"Your Domain."
He hissed.
"Your realm, It means nothing to me." He tightened his grip on the spike and Gojo's entire body spasmed as the weapon burrowed deeper.
Red lightning burst from his back, spiraling upward into the void.
Gojo coughed once. Then something strange happened, he gave a soft laugh that sounded like he was almost relieved.
"…Good."
His hair flickered red to white, white to red again, caught between states under unstable pressure. The spike pinned him, but his aura began shifting, melting, unraveling and reforming simultaneously.
He raised his hand weakly… then stopped.
His fingers twitched. Annihilus sensed the change immediately.
The void trembled.
A subtle distortion.
A ripple in the seams of existence.
Something small, almost inconsequential yet catastrophically dangerous was about to happen.
Gojo smiled wider. As he was about to make a gamble.
INFINITY TECHNIQUE: REVERSE CONVERGENCE — "ZERO FIELD"
Space inverted around Gojo.
The cosmic spike vibrated violently, as if thrust into the eye of a neutron star. The field around him began swallowing itself, collapsing inward toward a single, infinitesimal point.
Annihilus recoiled and screamed "IMPOSSIBLE—!"
The spike exploded into blue dust.
Gojo fell forward, clutching the wound with one hand as rejection energy surged through his body and immediately the bleeding slowed. The pain dulled and his damaged heart stabilized.
Gojo wiped his lip.
"Dirty trick," he murmured.
"Let's never do that again."
But Annihilus wasn't waiting, usi Farid the fractions of seconds regained, he launched forward with no rod strikes, no energy beams, just raw physical dominance. A claw the size of a building swung at Gojo's skull as he enlarged his arm.
Gojo didn't block as he simply caught the claw with two fingers.
And whispered:
INFINITY TECHNIQUE: NEGATIVE CURVE
The space behind Annihilus folded.
Then detonated. Annihilus' body jerked as if punched by a collapsing dimension. Chunks of his armor cracked, peeling like shattered obsidian.
But he recovered instantly.
And for the first time he also smiled.
His mandibles peeled back, exposing rows of razored teeth.
"Good," Annihilus echoed Gojo's earlier word.
"Your death will be… entertaining."
He lunged himself just as Gojo braced for impact.
The air shuddered and with a single thought, Gojo reopened the Domain.
Again.
A stretching infinitely in every direction. Red lightning cracked along the void ceiling, heat rising in shimmering tides as the "ground" rippled like a living nebula.
Annihilus snarled. Even the Negative Zone lord felt the shift.
Gojo hovered, eyes glowing with star-hot fury.
"Round two."
And then, the domain shattered.
Annihilus had broke it.
But gradually or even slowly.
He ripped it open in a single, violent, impossible pulse of cosmic force. space bending, light deforming, the very foundation of Gojo's technique being pried apart by brute authority.
Gojo skidded backward through the broken void, eyes narrowing and the absurd act.
Annihilus stepped through the rupture with a grin that held two rows of carnivorous teeth.
"You rely on these tricks too much."
Gojo didn't answer.
He flicked two fingers.
Four blasts of Red detonated outward like condensed stars.
Annihilus dodged effortlessly moving between them with the grace of a predator that had lived across epochs. He actually chuckled.
"Pathetic. Does your arrogance blind you so deeply—"
Then he stopped.
Because he noticed the tiny, silent blue sparks that had been drifting in the air since the beginning. They floated toward the Red blasts.
Not exploding but they were drinking up the energy.
Each spark devoured the crimson energy like hungry points of gravity.
Then, all at once,they fused.
—BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM—
A blinding flash tore open the sky as Red met Blue and birthed PURPLE
Not the usual Hollow Purple, but something denser, rawer, laced with the domain's residual spatial pressure.
The shockwave hurled Annihilus backward, his wings convulsing as reality folded around him like crushed paper.
After a while, Gojo walked through the explosion, laughing, actually laughing. His eyes were wild and the lightning screaming across his skin.
"You should see your face!"
He threw his hands wide.
"Come on, bug-king! Didn't expect me to paint physics like this, did you?!"
The blast still roared behind Annihilus, swallowing light and sound.
He tried to stabilize himself but the shock was still on him, his senses werew rattled, his cosmic flow staggered.
Exactly as Gojo planned.
Because before the explosion even touched Annihilus, Gojo had prepared something.
A trap.
A thin strip of space, invisible and silent, had been laced right in front of where Annihilus was now flailing. A line so absolute it didn't exist in three dimensions or four.
A line that denied existing anywhere except Gojo's intent. And Annihilus stumbled into it.
His arm, the one carrying the Cosmic Control Rod, simply wasn't there .
It fell away in a perfectly clean, impossible slice that no weapon, no cosmic power, no simple spatial tear should have been able to achieve.
Even the Rod flickered, confused, as if disbelieving it had been removed from its wielder.
Annihilus stared at the arm in disbelief.
Gojo tilted his head, smiling.
"Surprise?"
The arm floated there with them. For a moment, there was silence.
Annihilus didn't scream. He simply stared at the stump where his arm had been, golden ichor dripping out in slow-motion arcs that defied gravity as much as his mind defied what had just occurred.
Then, the Cosmic Control Rod pulsed.
Once.
Twice.
Violently.
Like a star flaring in panic.
Gojo's smile faded. Even he felt a deep, planetary hum shaking the seams of reality, rippling outward like a pulse that reached into places no mortal should feel.
"Huh…"
Gojo muttered, tilting his head.
"It's reacting to being unbonded. That's… new."
The severed arm twitched, fingers spasming around the Rod as the artifact began emitting long, metallic screeches.
A concept screaming.
Annihilus finally exhale while trembling , low growl that vibrated through dimensions.
"You… you cut the bond."
His voice wasn't angry.
It was horrified.
Gojo shrugged, spinning one finger lazily.
"You're welcome."
The Rod screamed louder.
Space around it folded inward like wet paper. Time rippled out of sync, fracturing the moment into shards as one showing Gojo blinking, another showing him mid-smirk, another showing him already tired of this.
The artifact struggled to decide when this moment was.
Annihilus gritted his teeth.
"You fool."
Gojo grinned.
"You're the one missing an arm, buddy."
But then—
The Rod rose on its own, dragging the severed arm up like a puppet.
Yellow energy poured from it in frantic, jagged rays, striking the void, the broken outlines of the former domain, even Annihilus himself. The Negative Zone lord staggered backward as though struck by a god.
Gojo shifted forward, measuring the changes.
The Rod was no longer controlled.
It was correcting.
Rebinding.
Searching.
Rejecting.
Like a nuclear heart trying to find a new host or destroy everything until it is reunited with the one it lost.
And then, It looked at Gojo.
Not physically or visually.
But the pressure he felt was stronger than what he had sensed earlier from the rod and so the Space around him tightened.
Like a fist.
Gojo's red lightning flickered and his white teeth showed in a sharp grin.
"Oh? You wanna test me too?"
He raised one hand, palm glowing with a faint, electric-blue shimmer.
Infinity.
The very air stuttered at its presence.
But the Rod did something expected as it had done countless of times now. It ignored Infinity.
Its next pulse bypassed the slowing effect entirely, making the energy reach Gojo as if Infinity wasn't even fully there.
Gojo's smile vanished.
"...Ah. That's actually dangerous."
Annihilus lifted his head, blood dripping down his jaw.
"The Cosmic Control Rod does not accept separation."
His voice trembled.
"It enforces ownership."
Gojo's brow lifted.
"So it wants you back?"
Annihilus' jaw clenched.
"No."
The Rod pulsed again, forming a ring of concentric yellow circles around itself.
"It wants to punish whoever broke the bond."
And every yellow ring snapped toward Gojo like a sequence of collapsing stars.
Gojo clicked his tongue.
"Alright. Guess it's my turn again."
Gojo vanished—
