Unbeknownst to Rise, taking Riri early on ruined his act in front of Kamille. If he knew, Rise would only find this a surprise and celebrate by kissing Riri's cheeks so hard and call him his good luck charm.
At this point, he still did not know, so he would not be able to do that yet.
The preparation for the gate was still ongoing. Rise had already scrapped his plans about using his father's power to make Kamille accompany him inside, as the other had already requested it.
"Remember what we agreed on?" Rise hugged Riri and asked, looking the little one in the eye. "Don't use your ability arbitrarily."
Seeing him nod obediently, Rise sighed in relief. He was aware that Riri seemed to have this assumption that by using his ability, he could help in his own way. And it was true; however, there were hidden risks about this.
