"No! That's bullshit!"
Almost instinctively, Rise shouted. Shaking his head and lowering his head, not meeting Kamille's crimson eyes anymore. His body was shaking as he refused whatever shit Kamille spouted.
"There's no way." Rise looked at Kamille on the bed and pursed his lips, unwilling to even utter the word.
His knuckles went white, holding Kamille's hand tightly.
If he did that, then was everything he did useless? More than revenge, Rise's goal was Kamille. All of this stemmed from that one goal. He wanted to make Kamille his, to make the person he loves fall for him.
This sounded simple, but Rise had been striving for that for years, and he did not care what others said. Getting revenge was on the agenda, but on the premise that Kamille was his.
If not, what even was the purpose of his revenge? What was the purpose of fighting with destiny? He finally took revenge on himself? Sure, but what then?
