Had Her Majesty been awake in order to play a trick on me? The distance growing closer is a little frightening, but this is only now. I convinced myself of that, looked at Her Majesty with her eyes shut, and closed my eyes sitting in the chair.
"Lord Robbie, please wake."
I woke to Anouk's voice. When I opened my eyes Her Majesty and Anouk were in front of me, smiling.
"Now, Her Majesty will change, so could you leave the seat?"
"Yes."
I left the room with my head buzzing.
"Lord Robbie, you look sleepy. Will you skip breakfast and sleep even a little? I think you can take a meal on the carriage as well, so shall I wrap something?"
Lily was thoughtful. That helps.
"Yeah. Will you? I am terribly sleepy, so if I can lie down even a little that is good."
