Eiravyne pulled back just enough to look into his dark violet eyes, her hands trembling as she pressed her palms flat against his chest.
"Theodore... terrified and screaming in the halls..hating me .. And Ilomina... everyone caught in the radius of your wrath..about Ilkar ...."
Her thoughts were a mess.
Her fingers gripped tighter against his tunic, desperate to make him see the terrible aspect of his wrath.
" U-Urag… I am terrified that by hiding me ..you are going to end up destroying everyone..not even just Ilkar"
Urag stepped back from the bed so fast .
He put a wide, unbridgeable expanse of space between them, his towering frame rigid and tense in the dim moonlight.
A heavy, suffocating silence fell over the chamber, broken only by the ragged sound of his breathing.
