When Eiravyne opened her eyes in the middle of the night, confusion settled over her .
She was certain,absolutely certain, that she had fallen asleep beside Theodore.
She remembered the book still open in her hand, his small fingers clutching the edge of her sleeve, the steady rhythm of his breathing as the story trailed into silence.
She hadn't even meant to sleep. It had just… happened.
