Looking at the fiery molten lava behind her, and the monster that looked exactly like the one from the legends, constantly howling, screaming, and drooling as it fixed its gaze on her, Nissa, who had no social experience and had never faced danger before, couldn't help but start jumping up the steps in panic. No matter how fast she ran, she couldn't catch up with the steps that kept retreating.
Terrified by the monster, she screamed, "No, no, help me, I'll do anything, anything!"
William didn't believe her words, but he still snapped his fingers to slow down the speed at which the steps descended.
Having almost fallen into the abyss, Nissa didn't dare hesitate any longer and desperately jumped upwards.
After escaping the danger of falling, she breathed a sigh of relief. But after jumping and running for ten minutes, feeling more and more exhausted, she looked up and screamed at William, "What do you want? Tell me, what do you want?"
"Heh," William took a sip of his drink, looked at the panting Nissa, and smiled, "I heard that the vampires have a blood oath, is that right?"
"To hell with that! You can forget about it, I will never swear a blood oath to you!"
"Well, you don't get to decide that. If you don't want to end up as a slave to demons in hell, you better run faster. The lesser demons behind you love nothing more than torturing beautiful women like you."
Seeing William pointing behind her, Nissa turned around to look. She saw hundreds, even thousands of monsters, their faces twisted and covered in flames, climbing up a rock formation that had appeared out of nowhere.
"Ah! Ah! Ah!"
Watching the demons quickly climbing towards her, Nissa sped up her pace, eventually crawling on all fours as she hastily moved, glaring at William and muttering, "I'll kill you. I'll kill you, you bastard."
After running for another ten minutes, her whole body aching, she turned to look in terror as the demons drew closer.
She screamed, "I agree! I agree!"
Snap
The melodious snap of fingers rang in Nissa's ears. As she turned to look behind her, she saw the rock formation suddenly disappear.
The demons, who had lost their foothold, stretched out their hands in vain as they shrieked and screamed, falling helplessly into the abyss.
"Blood God above," Nissa groaned, lying on the now flat ground, peering over the edge to watch the chaos and fighting taking place in the abyss below.
A wave of excitement surged through her, feeling as if she had narrowly escaped death. She turned around and laid back, breathing deeply, staring at the stars reflected on the glass roof of the garden room.
Once the danger had passed, Nissa hesitated again about the blood oath. She silently lay there, not moving, not saying a word, protesting with her silence.
After a long while, William smiled and waved his hand. Time shifted, and a ray of light appeared in the sky, transforming into the appearance of the morning sun.
As Nissa began to feel a heat rising from her body, a sharp sting spread through her skin, and she began to truly fear William.
Realizing that this space was not only controlled by William as he had said, but could also manifest real-world scenarios, an overwhelming sense of helplessness washed over her. The blood oath felt inevitable.
Once the oath was completed, Nissa would no longer be able to do anything that would harm William or the Devonshire family. She could not use any means to reveal William's secrets either.
Moreover, as long as William had a thought, he could make her suffer in ways beyond imagining, burning her blood constantly.
In extreme cases, if William didn't stop, and continued to burn her blood, she would end up truly meeting Satan in a matter of minutes.
In other words, unless William intentionally led her to her death, Nissa would never think of defying his will again.
Feeling the connection in her mind, a contract and control over her spirit, William smiled with satisfaction.
Since meeting Nissa, William had been thinking of ways to deal with her vampire father, Alyda-Makinos. Before long, Alyda would probably be cursing and regretting that he ever sought out William.
Looking at the still prone Nissa, William smiled, "Tell me, what have you heard about magic and wizards?"
"Can't you wait until I recover before you ask?"
Glancing at William with dissatisfaction, Nissa said irritably, "Our family's ancient books mention magic and wizards, but when I asked my father about them, he said these were just legends. In the hundreds of years he's lived, he never found any real evidence of magic or wizards."
Hearing this, William shook his head. "Just because something can't be found doesn't mean it doesn't exist," he sighed quietly, then asked, "What was Alyda-Makinos' real purpose for sending you to London?"
"My father hopes that you will either permanently banish Marcus or hand him over to us. In exchange, he is willing to give you European assets worth 1 billion dollars as payment."
Recovering her composure, Nissa sat up, lazily removed the metal hairpin from her hair, and let her damp hair fall naturally.
William, who had long been interested in her, beckoned her closer, reducing the distance between them.
In the panicked gaze of Nissa, who already felt something was wrong, he kissed her on the lips.
Lacking experience, Nissa instinctively tried to reveal her fangs, but just as the thought crossed her mind, a feeling of heart-pounding terror struck her, and not only did her fangs fail to appear, but her blood also started to boil. She hurriedly suppressed the impulse.
But even after the burning sensation faded, the strange feelings within her lingered, and before long, she silently responded to William's advances.
An hour later, the seductive Nissa lay quietly on William's chest, listening to the strong rhythm of his heartbeat.
For the man who had forced her into signing the blood oath and taken her first time, Nissa didn't know whether to hate him or love him.
But upon further reflection, she realized that she didn't truly dislike him. After all, in the rules of the vampire family, the strong had the right to do whatever they wanted.
Having always been well-protected, Nissa couldn't feel any hatred toward someone as dominant and powerful as William.
Moreover, she suddenly discovered how wonderful and extraordinary physical exercise could be. After resting for a while, her hand unconsciously reached lower.
"To hell with this," as she said that, William and Nissa engaged in another round of physical activity.
Another hour passed, and the two finally emerged from the mirror space.
Back in the real world, Sunday reported, "SIR, you've been gone for nearly three hours. Miss Nissa's companions have tried to break in three times. Reluctantly, Antonov and the others had to completely control them.
Also, Madam Lina has asked me twice if the matter is over."
After kissing Nissa on the lips, William opened a portal and handed her a phone and headset.
"Go ahead and leave with Asa. Stay in London and wait for my news. As for your father, tell him I will consider it seriously."
"Mm," Nissa, holding onto William's neck, silently responded. After a long moment, she tidied up her clothes and left the mansion with Asa.
Thinking back on Nissa's enchanting allure, William couldn't help but wonder if he should get some of Alexander Covinas' old blood to give her the right to walk in the sun.
If Selena could drink it, why couldn't his woman?
Not to mention, Nissa had signed the blood oath with him.
