Nothing special, just being careful—he was worried about getting one‑shot the moment he walked through the door.
But after secretly watching for half a minute and seeing no so‑called ambush, he finally stepped out of the Mirror World.
Because his speed was fast enough, Duan Jiqing didn't even notice he'd used Space Power as well, and even mocked him for being cowardly and dawdling before coming in.
As soon as he heard that, Yang Xiao was quite disappointed in him. Revealing your own ability before a fight is a huge taboo. Just from those words he could tell the guy's mastery of Space Power was inferior to his own, and that once the guy was inside this space, he couldn't observe the outside world at all.
Yang Xiao almost never wastes words in battle; even during the pre‑fight trash‑talk segment, it's just some transgender flaming, and he never exposes his own trump cards and abilities.
