Chapter 501 - 501: Emerging from the Flames

"Sorry, but our king doesn't like the new world you're offering."

A voice rang out.

It was Malfoy.

Voldemort turned to look.

Malfoy strode out openly, saying with infuriating insolence, "So just turn around and leave—You noseless freak."

"How dare you!" Bellatrix glared at Malfoy with murderous intent. "I'll kill you!"

"Shut up, you shameless old thief, you spineless cur barking here!" Malfoy snapped back without hesitation. "I'm right here. Who dares kill me?!"

Now it wasn't just Bellatrix— even Voldemort was staring at Malfoy with dangerous intensity.

"Draco, you are pure-blood," Voldemort said, fixing his gaze on him, trying to project magnanimity. "I don't understand why you would stand against me."

"Come to me, child," he continued.

"Ok, and? You're a half-blood. Do you really think changing your name means no one knows?" Malfoy sneered, tearing away Voldemort's last pretense with open mockery. "Your mother must've been truly pitiful, giving birth to someone too afraid to face his own blood."

"Oh, right," Malfoy added, as if suddenly remembering. "I forgot—you don't have a mother. You're an orphan, aren't you? Heeh~"

The entire battlefield fell silent.

At that moment, Malfoy—who had fully maxed out his ability to draw aggro—felt a suffocating pressure bearing down on him, as if it wanted to crush him alive.

It was Voldemort.

He had once considered turning Malfoy to his side.

Now, Voldemort only wanted one thing...

To kill him!

"Avada Kedavra!"

The green light streaked across the short distance.

There was no warning. No one expected Bellatrix's sneak attack on Malfoy.

What?

Targeting Malfoy?

Then that wasn't surprising at all.

At that moment, the sky lit up with stars.

Brilliant pillars of light descended, enveloping Hogwarts.

The supposedly fatal green curse missed its mark, and Malfoy burst out laughing.

"My king, let me ask you—do you like this gift?"

Malfoy raised both arms and shouted at the top of his lungs.

"The sun has its night, the moon its day—only the stars endure, ever circling."

"Starlight, shine upon this land. In the name of the stars, I summon you."

"The Constellation Society takes the stage!"

The surroundings transformed. Vines spread across the shattered Hogwarts, turning it lush and green.

Nine gates emerged from the castle walls. The stars above flared to life as dreamlike golden script and drifting clouds of light fell from the sky.

Between the stars, lines connected, forming a vast pattern.

Solemn. Sacred.

At the center of the pattern, vast magic converged into a violent, all-destroying rainbow pillar of light.

The beam crashed straight down, striking the heart of the dark creatures' army.

Like a blade descending from the heavens, it pierced through the earth itself.

The Black Lake was battered again and again by surging magical shockwaves, its creatures losing consciousness and floating lifelessly on the surface.

Under the aurora-like radiance, the entire Inferi horde collapsed into corpses devoid of life.

The light pillar formed a barrier, enclosing all of Hogwarts within it and sealing off every entrance and exit.

This was the accumulated power of the Constellation Society over many years, released all at once—its terrifying might rivaling the Rainbow Bridge John had once encountered at the dragon grounds.

And the ones controlling it were the members of the Constellation Society themselves.

They appeared on the battlefield, guiding the pillars of light as they annihilated the enemy.

"The second war has begun."

Malfoy raised his arms and shouted. The students who had been drowning in despair moments ago erupted into cheers.

If the Chosen One and Dumbledore couldn't do it, that didn't mean their king couldn't!

With a single move, the tide was turned. The Constellation Society's golden runes transformed into tiny figures, busily running all over Hogwarts.

Every wounded person was healed by the golden little figures.

Watching one of them perched by George's left ear, treating him, Fred couldn't help but sigh in amazement. "This is unbelievable."

The scrape on Ginny's face healed, Mr. Weasley's fractured bones mended, Lupin was released from his petrified state, and Tonks felt a warm glow spread through her body.

Sirius, who had been bleeding just moments ago, was now lively and full of energy again.

In that instant, everyone recovered.

Daphne tapped the top of her head with her wand, and an exquisite diadem belonging to Ravenclaw appeared there.

It placed her in a state similar to the effects of Felix Felicis—only without any side effects.

The two sides clashed once more. A beam of starlight poured into the armor encasing the kneeling Hagrid.

Hagrid threw back his head and roared, his eyes flooded with white light as arcs of electricity crackled from his gaze.

He slammed his fist into the ground, and a ring of explosive force burst outward, blasting wizards away.

"The advantage is still ours. Don't panic!" Voldemort's voice rang out, steadying his shaken forces.

Voldemort's expression flickered uncertainly. He hadn't expected this final trump card.

But it also meant his objective was now within reach—enter the Constellation Society and seize the Holy Grail.

"Giants, kill them!"

Voldemort issued the order directly.

The Gurg let out a thunderous roar. Wearing his golden helmet, he strode toward the students and sneered, "Little runts."

"Little runts?"

Daphne flicked her wand, and a door swung open.

"Now let's see who the little runts really are!"

The door swung open, expanding wider and wider.

The next second, a terrifying roar shook the sky.

The wounded Kiki lifted her head and let out a dragon's roar. "Roar!"

Answering her were dozens, then hundreds of dragon roars.

More than a hundred fire dragons burst forth.

Above Hogwarts, fire dragons streaked across the sky.

They opened their jaws, and scorching dragonfire incinerated the dark creatures completely.

Giants?

Before fire dragons, they were nothing more than upright apes.

A massive black dragon, nearly eighty feet long, descended from above. The Gurg's body, towering among giants, now looked pitifully small by comparison.

So many fire dragons left Voldemort's entire side stunned into silence.

Even without all of them emerging, there were at least a hundred dragons here.

A single breath of dragonfire was enough to turn the land into a sea of flames.

Wizards attacked frantically. One fire dragon fell, only for more to descend, pouring dragonfire onto the ground.

How was something like this even possible?

No one knew.

But at this moment, Voldemort had no mind for anything else.

His thoughts were fixed solely on those nine gates.

What he wanted was inside them.

Voldemort rushed toward that direction.

The moment he pushed a door open, countless writhing vines surged toward him, closing in from all sides.

Voldemort was not Theodore. His power was immense—he shattered one vine, only for countless more to surge forward.

He continued searching.

But it was useless. Without a badge, he had no way to find the correct door.

He shifted his target to the members of the Constellation Society.

"Seize them!" Voldemort ordered, and the wizards advanced toward the Constellation Society.

That was exactly what they wanted. The members of the Constellation Society engaged across the various battlefields.

The Order of the Phoenix joined the fight as well.

Dumbledore was helped up by the trio. Looking at the weakened Dumbledore, Harry clenched his teeth and said, "You need treatment."

As if knowing what Harry intended to do, Dumbledore said, "No. Please don't do that."

"Harry, where are you going?" Hermione asked when she saw Harry dash toward one of the doors.

Clutching the Constellation badge in his hand, Harry pushed open a door.

Beyond it lay a maze-like space.

Harry ran inside.

That scene was spotted by Kim.

Kim cried out in alarm, "How can he go in?"

Before the door Harry entered could close,

Voldemort turned into a streak of black shadow and rushed inside after him.

Unable to bear watching Dumbledore die, Harry lost his way within the maze.

The labyrinth shifted constantly, never staying the same.

Suddenly, he caught sight of a streak of silver light.

Harry hurried after it.

The silver light rose and fell, darting about like an unfettered sprite.

Harry chased it onward.

With the fire dragons joining the fray, the battle was turned on its head.

The Gurg punched a fire dragon out of the air and shouted in clumsy speech, "Who's next!"

A brutal giant by nature, The Gurg had already killed the former chief earlier that very night.

His strength was overwhelming. Wearing the golden helmet that symbolized power, he was even able to withstand flames.

The arrogant Gurg led the giants in an assault against the dragons.

Both sides possessed terrifying defenses. Fire dragon fangs punched bloody holes through giant flesh, while the giants' massive clubs smashed dragon scales apart.

As blows were traded back and forth, the students—despite having been healed—were once again pressed down by the enemy.

If not for the ferocious twelve who appeared and vanished like phantoms across the battlefield, the school's death toll would have risen drastically.

Malfoy clashed with Bellatrix once more.

As Malfoy's maternal aunt, Bellatrix despised that wretched boy more than anything.

Coincidentally, Malfoy despised Bellatrix just as much.

The Weasley twins joined the fight. Bellatrix was struck several times, yet she acted as if nothing had happened.

"When is John coming back?"

Malfoy truly missed John.

The beautiful Hungarian Horntail, Amohan, unleashed a blast of dragonfire at The Gurg.

Unexpectedly, the Gurg pushed straight through the flames, advancing step by step toward Amohan.

Just as he was about to reach the dragon,

a strange vortex suddenly formed within the fire.

Sensing something amiss, Amonhan intensified the flames.

"Useless."

The Gurg sneered. His skin had extremely high fire resistance, and with the golden helmet, he feared no dragonfire at all.

Just as he was about to mock Amohan for wasting effort, a pair of vertical pupils opened within the flames.

In the next instant, the Gurg's body was blasted backward.

The fire began to flicker, pulsing with a strange, rhythmic pattern.

All the dragons sensed it.

They ceased their attacks, lifting their heads and unleashing dragonfire into the sky.

Amid the sea of flames, the king of dragonkind stepped forth from the fire.

The flames traced the outline of a dragon, scales cloaked in burning light.

As it swept its gaze across the battlefield, the dragon's body continued to expand.

The fire blazing over it grew ever more intense.

In the next second, it transformed into a massive fireball and smashed straight toward the giant leader, The Gurg.

The earth trembled.

As the flames dispersed, the silhouette of a colossal body was revealed.

Red light flared in the golden dragon's chest as it opened its jaws and breathed dragonfire at The Gurg.

Fire doesn't work?

Heh~ It's just that the temperature wasn't high enough.
