Chapter 3247 - AOT 7.1

Morning came too soon. Dawn's gray light seeped through the grimy window, striping the floor. You felt the need to remain asleep for a few more seconds, but the sounds of the survey corps moving outside forced you out of your bunk. You sat on the bed, and the wood made a groaning noise as your weight shifted. The sheets felt rough against your skin.

The bed beside you was already empty.

As your eyes adjusted to the light of dawn, you heard the rustling of fabric against skin. You turned your head. Mikasa was standing just a meter and a half away from you, her back to you. She was putting on her uniform...But so far, your eyes have only noticed the long socks pressed against her skin.

.

.

Indeed, that was the only fabric against the pale body of Mikasa Ackerman. You saw her shoulders, her spine and back, her hips...Her well-toned gluteal muscles tightened as she bent down to pick up her pants. Her black hair, which now reached the length of her nape, framed the entire scene. Her muscles flexed and relaxed as she moved.

For a brief moment, you saw the pink coloration of her lower lip.

She must have sensed your gaze. She turned her head slightly, looking at you over her shoulder. Her face was impassive, but her dark eyes held yours. No blush. No sign of embarrassment. Only an acknowledgment. of your stare

And then she turned away, pulling her pants up as if nothing had happened. The fabric met a little resistance as she pulled it up her legs and secured it at her waist; her glutes hugged perfectly.

"Mikasa," Your own morning voice, rough with sleep, broke the silence of the room.

She paused, her hands at the buckle of her belt. "Conrad," Her reply was equally quiet.

She then turned back fully to you, her upper body still bare. You saw her flat stomach, the marked lines of her abdominals, the swell of her breasts. Her nipples were pink points in the cold morning air. She really seemed not to mind. Not at all. Only a hint of pride at what her body had become.

"It is what it is," She said, as if she could read your thoughts, as if the mere sight of her were an accusation she had to defend.

"I..." There was no point in denying the evidence of your own eyes. "...wasn't expecting that."

Her dark eyes remained fixed on yours. "And yet it is what you saw." She did not avert her gaze. "I do not mind."

You felt a strange heat crawl up your own neck, a heat that had nothing to do with the room's temperature. You were the one who had to look away. "Right."

A silence stretched between the two of you, filled only by the sounds of the Survey Corps outside and the rustle of her clothes as she finished dressing.

She grabbed her white button-up shirt, pulling it on. "We have orders to assist with the clean up," She stated, her tone all business again. "While Captain Levi takes care of the interrogation."

You stood up, pulling on your own boots. The leather was stiff against your feet. "Just cleaning the facilities here?"

"Correct."

You did not say another word until the three of you were gathered at the entrance, the morning sun a pale disk in the sky. Other survey corps members were already bustling about, carrying supplies, and securing the perimeter. You saw your sister talking with Hange Zoë, who was gesturing wildly with her hands, her glasses catching the light.

You hoped your stay here was merely temporary, with the gate at Trost not yet repaired, there was no telling how long it would be before you could see Adelaide, Annie, and Historia. The thought of it made you feel uneasy. Yet, something within you told you that it wouldn't be long until you could see them again.

-x-X-x-

But for now, you had to focus on the task at hand.

You walked towards Hange, Mikasa following closely, and Emelina had already left to help carry some water barrels from a nearby stream.

"So, this is the famous cadet with the miraculous—" She bit her teeth shut, her arms held completely still as she censored herself from disclosing your secret.

She cleared her throat and then looked around as if she had just said nothing, "Oh, nothing to see here!" She added. The sheer fact that she was being so 'secretive' about your arm made you doubt the chances that your secret would last much longer.

"Captain Levi told me to help with the...cleaning," You said, trying to keep the conversation away from the matter. "Where do we start?"

Hange's eyes lit up, "Cleaning, huh?" She then put a hand on her chin. "Well, this place hasn't been used in ages, so there's plenty of dust to sweep away," She pointed to the main building. "You can start there. We'll need the main hall cleared out for later."

"Later?" You asked.

Hange's grin lessened a bit, "They are special guests, not as important as Reiner or you, but we need to prepare for them." She then patted your shoulder. "Oh, and we will be talking later, young man. Don't think I'll forget."

Then Hange walked away, leaving you and Mikasa to head towards the main building. As you walked, you couldn't help but look at Mikasa once more. The memory of her half-dressed body still burned in your mind. But she was now fully clothed, her expression as stoic as ever.

The main hall was in a state of disrepair. Dust covered every surface, and cobwebs hung from the ceiling. The air was thick with the smell of old stone and neglect. You grabbed a broom from a corner, and Mikasa followed suit. Only for the rest of Levi's squad to come in.

"Cleaning duty, huh?" Petra's voice was light, but there was a certain fatigue to her as she herself grabbed a rag. "At least it's not titan duty," She said, trying to make a joke. Giving a sisterly wink to both you and Mikasa.

Oluo scoffed. "Tch...Cleaning should be left to the recruits, not the special operations squad...I swear, the Captain is getting soft..." He said, but he still grabbed a broom and started sweeping the floor with a bit too much force.

Eld laughed, "I wouldn't call what he is doing to the Titan shifter soft." He was already dusting the old furniture.

Out of the four members, Gunther was nowhere to be seen, but it was not a surprise, as he was most likely with Levi. As you all began to clean, Mikasa moved next to you, sweeping the dust away. You felt her presence close to you, a quiet comfort. The silence between the two of you wasn't awkward, though; you felt as if it was due to the events of the morning. You had seen the naked rears of Addie, Annie, and Historia, three girls who had shared their love and passion with you. But this felt different, you knew that what you had seen was just a glimpse, a brief moment, and yet...

"Conrad," Mikasa's voice was quiet, her eyes still on the floor as she swept.

"Hm?" You turned to look at her, your own broom paused in its movement.

"We...we will protect each other." Her voice was firm, her eyes still not meeting yours. Yet, the way she spoke carried a deeper meaning. It was not just about the Titans. You could feel it. It was about what you both had witnessed and felt, the new connection that had formed in the heat of battle.

And the tension that had grown overnight.

"We will," You replied, your voice equally quiet. Then, over the corner of your eyes, you saw Mikasa's lips curve into a small smile, a subtle movement that was gone as soon as it appeared.

"About your girls..." She began, the word said with a hint of something else.

"Girls?" You raised an eyebrow. You knew she meant Annie, Krista, and Addie. But it was the first time she had referred to them as 'girls' and not by their names.

"Are they...?" Mikasa's question trailed off, just like back in the infirmary, perhaps it was her shyness...No, there was no shyness in her, only confusion. "Are you with them?" She asked.

You stopped your sweeping, the question hanging in the dusty air. It was a question you had not really asked yourself. You cared for them deeply. You loved them. But what did that mean? Were you 'with' them? You had never thought of it in those terms. Yet, the one answer that felt right was the one that made you feel a bit...like a scumbag.

"Yes." You answered.

You saw Mikasa's grip on the broom tighten in turn. Her gaze moved to the side, a subtle shift.

But she did not look upset. She did not look angry. Her expression remained as stoic as ever, but there was something in her eyes. A thought. A question. She then looked at you once more. Her lips parted, as if she wanted to say something more. But then she simply turned back to her sweeping, the broom moving against the stone floor in a repetitive motion.

"I see," She said, her tone neutral. "The others thought the same. It was weird for them to be so...friendly with each other. Especially, whenever they were with you."

You did not respond. You did not know how to respond. You simply resumed your own sweeping, the sound of the bristles against the stone floor a rhythm that filled the silence between you. The rest of the squad was too busy with their own tasks to notice the quiet conversation between the two of you.

Mikasa's imagination drifted to the idea of being with you. It was not a thought that she had entertained before. But after the battle, after seeing your strength, after seeing you with your girls...The thought had taken root. It was not a crush, not a simple infatuation. It was something more. A need.

She glanced at you again, her eyes tracing the line of your jaw, the set of your shoulders. The way your muscles moved under your uniform as you worked. She knew your strength. She had felt it. The way you moved, the way you fought. It was a dance of death that she understood. A dance she wanted to share with you again and again. Yet...

"You've seen them too, haven't you?" She suddenly asked. "Like you did this morning."

You almost choked on your own spit.

The memory of that morning's view of her naked body, of her perfect, toned body, flashed in your mind once again. The invocation of the images as a result of her straightforwardness almost made your breath hitch.

You saw the blush now forming on Mikasa's face. But she did not look away. She kept her gaze on you, her dark eyes intense. Lips delectable as they were dangerous.

"I...Yes, Mikasa." You admitted, your voice firm. "I did."

The moment that you declared that you had seen your three girls as nude as her, something changed in Mikasa's eyes. They dropped just slightly toward the ground.

"I am not femenine like them," She stated, knowing that her size and muscles did not make her body as soft as the other girls. Yet, it was a statement brought not from insecurity, but from pragmatism. "I know I'm not..."

"You are stronger than them," You corrected her. "And you're beautiful."

She looked at you again, her eyes wide in surprise. The compliment was unexpected, but it was honest. You could see that she was processing it. She took it as a compliment and not as a way to compare her to the other girls.

"That's good to know," She said, her voice confident.

Then, as if nothing had happened, she turned back to her sweeping, leaving you to wonder about what had just transpired. The rest of the cleaning went by rather quickly, with the rest of the squad chatting about whatever they felt like, but you and Mikasa remained in your own little world. Though the fact that you were a bit more conscious of each other's movements.

Especially the way that her uniform clung to her body. The scent of sweat, the sight of her toned muscles as she worked. The sight of her every movement made you feel a certain...desire.

Once the cleaning was done, the sun was high in the sky, and the rest of the Survey Corps had finished setting up the perimeter. You were finally given a short break. You decided to eat by the well, where the water was fresh and cold. Mikasa joined you, and the two of you sat on the edge of a stone well, your legs dangling over the side.

The water was refreshing, and you drank deeply from the wooden ladle, the cold liquid soothing your dry throat. Mikasa watched you as you drank, her own ladle forgotten in her hands.

"Do you...enjoy it?" She asked, her voice curious.

"Enjoy what?" You asked, handing her the ladle. She took it, her fingers brushing against yours for a second.

"Being with three girls," She said, her tone as neutral as if she were asking about the weather.

You laughed, "Yes, Mikasa. I do enjoy it." You leaned back on your hands, looking up at the sky. "I love them all."

The word love made Mikasa's heart skip a beat. She took a sip from the ladle, the water suddenly tasting different. She looked down into the well, her reflection a small, dark speck in the water. "I see," She said, her voice quiet. She then turned to you, her eyes searching yours. "They are very lucky to have you."

"And I am lucky to have them," You replied, your gaze meeting hers.

For a moment, neither of you spoke. The only sounds were the distant calls of the soldiers and the trickle of water from the well. Then Mikasa stood up, her movements graceful and deliberate. "We should head back," She said, her voice carrying a hint of regret.

You nodded and stood up as well. As you walked back to the main building, you could feel her eyes on you. Not vulnerable, not asking, just watching. It was a look that made your skin prickle with a new kind of awareness. A look that held a promise. A promise that you were not sure you were ready for.

Regardless of your readiness, a soldier from the survey corps walked over towards you and Mikasa.

"Hey, you two!" He called out, a large sack of supplies in his arms. "Hange is looking for you two. She said she needs help with a little project."

You and Mikasa exchanged a look, then followed the soldier to Hange's makeshift workshop. Things were about to get even more...interesting.

***

Hange's Workshop

As you entered, you saw Hange scribbling notes into a book, the pages filled with sketches of titans. Moblit was standing by her side, a tired look on his face.

"Ah! There you are!" Hange said, her eyes lighting up as she saw you and Mikasa. "Perfect timing!" She waved you over, her hands covered in what looked like ink and a bit of charcoal. The sudden energy startled Moblit, who had been half-asleep.

The 'workshop' was really more of a small storage room that appeared to have been quickly adapted for use, with some of the dust cleared out. The walls were lined with shelves filled with books and various strange-looking tools. In the center, there was a large table covered with drawings and papers, and a small cot in the corner.

"Yes?" You said, standing at attention. Mikasa did the same beside you.

Hange laughed and waved her hand, dismissing the formality. "No need to be so stiff! We're all friends here." She then pointed to the table. "Now, tell me, what do you make of this?"

She then picked up a large sheet of paper, the drawing on it making you and Mikasa tense. It was the Armored Titan. Its teeth bared in a scream, its eyes wide and insane. But there was a second drawing. A drawing of a human figure, with the Armored's distinctive facial features. A face you knew too well.

"That's Reiner," Mikasa said, her voice flat.

"Indeed!" Hange said, her excitement palpable. "Now, my question is...how?" She then pointed to the drawings. "How does a human turn into a Titan? What is the process? What are the mechanics? Is it a transformation? Is it a summoning? Is it magic?" She was almost bouncing on her feet as she spoke.

Her excitement, born of curiosity, clashed with the memories of the battle. The way Reiner's flesh had turned into steam. The way the titan's body appeared to be connected to him through flesh.

"I don't know," You answered, the truth as you knew it.

"Hmm...Well, I didn't expect you to know," Hange said, her glasses catching the light as she tilted her head. "Though I really hoped you would do so, given your arm." She then reached out and grabbed your hand. "Can I see it?"

You hesitated for a second. Mikasa tensed beside you. But then you extended your arm, the sleeve of your uniform rolled up. The muscular arm, the same as your original one, now fully visible. Hange's eyes widened as she examined it, her fingers tracing the skin, the muscles.

"Fascinating!" She exclaimed, her voice high-pitched with excitement. "It's perfect! No scars, no stitches! Just like your old arm!" She looked up at you, her eyes shining. "Can you feel it? Is it exactly the same?"

"Yes," You answered. "It feels...normal."

Hange nodded, her mind racing. "And the pain? The trauma? What happened when it was...cut off?"

You frowned at the memory. The pain was as shrieking a memory as the sounds of the titan's steam. "I felt nothing for a moment, then I felt the searing pain." You stopped for a second, remembering the vivid color of your own blood. Yet, you carried on. "I almost lost consciousness, but then...Then I felt an immense heat, and then...it was back."

Hange's eyes were wide, her lips moving as if she was trying to figure something out. "The heat..." She muttered to herself. "The heat of the titan...the steam..." She then let go of your hand and turned to Moblit. "Moblit! Make a note of this! Titans emit a lot of heat, do they not? Impossible amounts due to their size, and it was the same with the Armored Titan's body once Reiner was no longer connected to it." She then turned back to you and Mikasa. "There is a possibility...that somehow..." She paused, her excitement almost too much to contain. "That there is a connection between the regeneration of the titans and the regeneration of your arm."

Your own eyes widened at the implication. A connection between your regrowth and the titans? The thought was chilling. You had been trying to push that thought away, but now, faced with Hange's own excitement, you could no longer ignore it.

"That's a stretch, Captain," Mikasa said, her voice firm. "He is not a titan."

Hange shook her head, a grin on her face. "No, he's not. But what if the power that allows the Titans to regenerate is the same power that allowed his arm to regrow? The same that allowed Reiner to turn into the Armored?" She then looked at you, her gaze intense. "I cannot discard such a possibility. After all, there are hundreds of soldiers who lost their arms on the same day, yet only he managed to grow his back. And right after the battle with a titan."

You felt a chill go down your spine. The idea that you had something in common with the monsters you hated so much...it was a nightmare. You had always been a freak of nature, but this was on another level.

Hange noticed your reaction, her smile fading a bit. "Don't worry, Conrad. For now, it remains a theory...But," She said, both hands clasped together just above the table. "Don't you think that the power of the titans is something we should harness?"

The answer to you was clear. A quick, firm yes. Everything that humanity needed to defeat the Titans was something to be used.

"Yes," You said, your voice clear. "Anything that can help us kill them is worth it."

Hange's grin returned, her eyes sparkling. "Exactly! Now, this is where you come in." She picked up a pen and began to write furiously on a piece of paper. "We need more information. We need to know more about Reiner, about the process of his transformation...Especially, your arm...Hehehe. Hange's maniacal laughter made the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. She salivated as she wrote, as if writing all the things she wanted to do with you and Reiner.

"I doubt my experiments will ever be approved," She sighed, then looked at Moblit, who only raised his hands as if to say, 'I tried to tell you.'

"But if you ever feel like losing a limb or two, please come see me!" Hange said as she put her pen down.

You simply nodded, not knowing how to respond to that. Mikasa, on the other hand, looked at Hange with a look of confusion. But then Hange's expression turned serious.

"This is all classified, of course," She said, her tone shifting to that of a squad leader. "No one outside of this room can know about this. Understood?"

"Yes, Captain," You and Mikasa said in unison.

Hange smiled, her usual cheerful self returning. "Good, good. Now, you two are dismissed. I have to continue with my research. Oh! And if you see Captain Levi, tell him that I'm not up to anything crazy! I'm just...observing." She waved her hand, signaling you to leave.

As you and Mikasa left the workshop, the cool air of the afternoon was a welcome relief. You looked at her, a question on your mind. "What do you think?"

Mikasa thought for a moment, her gaze on the path ahead. "I think that Hange is right," She finally said. "You are special, Conrad. That's what I believe."

"Special?" You repeated the word feeling wrong on your tongue.

"Yes." She looked at you, her eyes steady. "You have a power that can help us. You are strong...and not just physically."

You felt a warmth spread in your chest at her words. The idea of being 'special' in a good way, not just a freak...it was a strange feeling. A comforting one.

"Thank you, Mikasa," You said, your voice quiet.

She simply nodded, her gaze moving to the barracks ahead. It was already late in the afternoon, and most of the survey corps had retired to dinner. "We should get some food," She said. "And then rest. We don't know what tomorrow will bring."

You agreed, and you both made your way to the mess hall. The events of the day were still fresh in your mind. The realization of your potential power, the conversation with Mikasa, the sight of Reiner in the cell below...it was a lot to process. But as you walked beside Mikasa, you felt a sense of calm. A sense that, no matter what, you could handle it.

***

Old Headquarters - Mess Hall

Inside the mess hall, the atmosphere was different from the day before. It was quieter, more somber. The members of the survey corps were eating in silence, their faces tired. From the long day of cleaning and keeping themselves alert in case anything went wrong with Reiner. The Armored Titan was still there, and the tension was palpable.

You and Mikasa took your food, a simple stew and bread, and sat together at a table in the corner. Then Emelina finally made her appearance, her hair slightly messy from work. "Finally, I thought I'd have to eat alone," She said as she sat down, her bowl in hand and a smile that could kill.

"Did you finish your work?" You asked.

Emelina nodded, her smile fading a bit. "Yes, and it was as fun as cleaning an outhouse," She said, taking a spoonful of her stew. Her eyes gazed over at Mikasa for a moment, then back at you. She picked up immediately on the tension between the two of you. "So, how was your time with Hange?"

You and Mikasa exchanged a glance, a silent agreement. You were not going to share what happened in the workshop. "Just some cleaning and questions," You said, your voice casual.

Emelina raised an eyebrow, but she did not push the issue. Instead, she looked around the room, her gaze lingering on the soldiers of the survey corps. "Well...Conrad, you've finally made it. You are a part of this, now," She said, a note of pride and yet, also resignation in her voice. "You wanted to join the Survey Corps, didn't you?"

You nodded, the memory of the journal, of Griffin Ilzos, surfacing in your mind. "I did."

"And now you have," Emelina said, her tone a bit softer. "But it's not what you thought it would be, is it?"

You didn't answer right away. You looked at your spoon, the stew in your bowl, and the bread on the table. It was not what you had expected. It was not the glorious, heroic adventure you had read in the journal. It was hard, dirty, and with a tint of betrayal, but...it was right. It felt right.

"No," You finally said. "It's better."

Emelina smiled, a genuine smile that reached her eyes. As unnerving as it could be for others, for you, it was the smile that meant she was proud of you. "Good answer," She said, her voice filled with affection. She then turned to Mikasa, her smile turning a bit sly. "What about you, Mikasa? Are you happy to be here?"

Mikasa looked at her, her face as impassive as ever. "I am content," She said, her tone neutral. But then she added, "It's where I need to be."

Emelina's sly smile turned into a grin. "Content, huh?" She said, her voice teasing. "Is that so?" She leaned in, her eyes glinting with mischief. "Is that it?" She emphasized every last word before a sudden interruption.

Behind Emelina's platinum blonde hair, you saw Petra approaching your table. The smile she wore felt out of place. "Hello there," Petra said, her voice warm and friendly. "Mind if I join you?"

Emelina raised an eyebrow, a smirk on her lips. She then moved to the side, making room for Petra to sit down. "Not at all," She said, her tone overly sweet.

Yet, Petra sat down not next to Emelina but next to you, which made Mikasa's brow raise a bit. "It's nice to finally have a chance to talk with you all," Petra said, her smile growing even wider. "You three are the talk of the entire Survey Corps."

You blinked, surprised by the sudden attention. "We are?"

Petra nodded. "Of course! Defeating the Armored Titan? That's no small deed." She said to all of you, "If you feel as if the people around you are too scared...It's probably because they are in awe of what you all did."

Mikasa's expression did not change, but you could see her relax a bit. She was not one for praise, but it was nice to be recognized.

"Thank you," You said, feeling a bit awkward. "But we were only doing our duty."

Petra shook her head, her orange hair swaying with the motion. "Don't be modest. It takes a lot of courage to do what you did. You should be proud." She then looked at Emelina, her eyes still warm. "All of you." She put an emphasis on the last word.

Emelina simply smiled, her eyes meeting Petra's in a friendly manner. "We are." Her voice was confident, but there was a hint of something else. A curiosity.

Petra's smile grew, and she leaned in a bit closer to Emelina. "That's the spirit!" She said, a bright smile coming to her face, as she glanced at the three of you, until finally, her smile stopped at you. It lasted for a second longer than what you felt was normal, and then she looked away, her gaze moving to her food, before once more being interrupted by another member of Levi's squad. It was Oluo who came over with his own plate of food.

"I was wondering where you were," Oluo said, his usual smug tone in place. He looked at you and the others, a smirk on his face. "I see you've found some new friends, Petra." He sat down next to her, his body language showing that he thought of himself as part of the group already.

"Indeed," Petra said, her tone a bit more reserved.

"Didn't I tell you not to smother the new recruits?" Oluo continued, his words meant to be a joke, but there was a hint of something else in them. A possessiveness, perhaps?

Petra simply rolled her eyes, a small smile playing on her lips. "I'm just being friendly, Oluo," She said, her voice teasing. "You should try it sometime."

"When any of them gets a higher kill count than me, I will," Oluo retorted, his eyes looking at the three of you.

Emelina chuckled, a glint of amusement in her eyes. She stopped herself from commenting any further, but it seemed that Petra already had something in mind.

"At the rate Conrad is going, you'll have to start being friendly sooner than you think," Petra teased. Her eyes then met yours, and she gave you a wink.

Oluo scoffed, his ego obviously bruised. He then began to eat his food, his movements a bit too forceful.

The rest of the meal passed in friendly banter. Petra asked about your training, your experiences in the battle, and the rest of your friends in the 104th. You answered her questions, feeling a bit more at ease with each passing moment. Mikasa remained quiet, her answers short and to the point, while Emelina entertained Petra with stories of your childhood.

It was a nice evening, whose only surprise was the brief yet almost intentional touch of Petra's leg against yours. Yet, she kept a smiling face all throughout the end of the meal. The Survey Corps had its own quirks, but they were, at their core, a family. A family you were now a part of.

Though you did catch Mikasa throwing a rather intense look towards Petra as she left the table with Oluo. It was a look that made you wonder if something had happened between them.

After a good meal and the promise of a restful night, you and your sister, along with Mikasa, made your way back to the room. It was that moment that Emelina turned towards Mikasa and you, right before entering the room.

"I forgot something," She said, an innocent smile on her face. "I'll be back in a bit." Then she turned around and walked away, leaving you and Mikasa alone in the quiet hallway.

Mikasa looked at you, her dark eyes unreadable. "What did she forget?"

You shrugged, "I don't know," You said.

Mikasa didn't respond, she just opened the door to the room and entered. You followed her, closing the door behind you. The room was dark, with only the moonlight coming in through the small window. It was quiet, the only sound being the rustling of your clothes as you took off your jacket and boots. You then sat on the bed, the wood creaking under your weight. Mikasa took off her boots as well, but instead of sitting on her bed, she stood by the window, looking out into the night. Her silhouette was beautiful against the moonlight.

"Are you tired?" You asked, your voice quiet.

She shook her head. "No," She said, her voice as quiet as yours. "I am just...thinking."

You stood up and walked over to her, standing by her side. The moonlight cast a pale glow on her face, highlighting the lines of her cheeks and the curve of her lips. "About what?" You asked.

She didn't look at you, her gaze fixed on the outside. "Eren and Armin," She said, her voice tinged with a hint of worry. "And the others. I hope they're safe."

You nodded. You understood her concern. You shared it. "They are," You said, trying to reassure her, even though you did not know if it was true. "They are strong. They can handle themselves."

Mikasa turned her head to look at you, her eyes searching yours. "They are," She agreed. But then her eyes moved away again, her gaze now on your lips.

It was that look that made your heart beat faster. The same look from the well and from that moment on, from the roof after the battle. Something within you stirred, a desire you couldn't quite name. Her lips parted, an unsung declaration escaping in her breath. One that was familiar and yet unknown. The distance between your bed and the window seemed to disappear from your perception. The room was now only the two of you. Nothing more.

With her dark eyes lingering on you, Mikasa's hand rose up, fingers reaching to the upper buttons of her shirt. Her delicate yet firm fingers slowly, almost teasingly, began to undo the buttons. The action was so fluid, so intentional, that it took your breath away. One by one, the buttons came undone, revealing the pale skin of her chest, the valley between her breasts.

Her fingers were slow at first, almost hesitant, but by the time that her lower shirt buttons were undone, she was already moving with more purpose. She moved to the sleeves of her white shirt and pulled it off, her skin glowing in the moonlight as her upper body was now uncovered. You could see the goosebumps on her skin, the way her breath made her chest rise and fall. She was beautiful. But the image of her breasts made you swallow hard, the sudden heat in your lower regions almost unbearable. The dangerous, delectable shape of her breasts was the perfect image of feminine curves, with her nipples hardened by the cold air.

As her eyes took in your reaction, Mikasa's own breath hitched. "Conrad..." The sultry whisper carried the weight of desire, one brought about by your own visual relish of her body.

With a renewed sense of urgency, her hands worked to remove her bra, her fingers nimble and confident. Her breasts bounced a bit as they were freed, the movement making your throat dry. The pink tips were hard and inviting, but the way her breasts looked as they moved with each of her breaths was what made you want to reach out and touch her. But you held back, your eyes fixed on her.

Mikasa's hands then moved to her pants, unbuttoning them and pushing them down her hips. The moment that her ass was freed from the constraint of the tight fabric was as if time itself had stopped. The curve of her ass bounced just a bit as she let the pants fall to her ankles. Then she took off her black underwear, kicking them to the side.

Now, she was standing before you, completely nude, her body a sight that you would never forget. She was the embodiment of strength and beauty, a warrior in her most vulnerable state. Yet, there was no vulnerability in her eyes. Only desire, a fire that burned just for you. It was as if she was challenging you to look at her, to desire her. To take her. The heat in her gaze was so intense that it was almost tangible.

And as the moonlight kissed her skin, her legs spread just enough for you to catch a glimpse of the wetness between her legs. Her breaths now came in short, heavy gasps, her chest rising and falling with each one.

It was then that you knew, without a doubt, that Mikasa Ackerman wanted you. And the stir in your loins answered with a resounding yes. You felt yourself stiffen, your desire for her almost painful in its intensity. But still, you did not move.

Mikasa could not wait any longer; she could not stand the distance any longer. With a sudden movement, she took a step forward, and then another. And that was enough to incite your own action, as you stood up, your eyes never leaving hers. With the same...No, with an even more pressing sense of urgency, you moved towards her, removing your shirt, the fabric almost torn off your body in your haste.

The distance closed quickly, and then your hands were on her hips, pulling her against you. The feel of her soft skin against yours was a shock, a delicious, electrifying shock. The rush of her scent, the feel of her body, the sight of her face so close to yours...it was all too much, and yet not enough.

Her hands found your shoulders, her fingers digging into your skin as she pulled you even closer. She immediately placed her hands on the back of your head, and with a firm grip, she pulled your lips to hers.

In that moment, every last mental resistance, every doubt, every hesitation was gone. There was only her, her body, her lips, and the fire that consumed you both. The desire that had formed between you both over the days finally had an outlet. And you both gave in to it.

The kiss was hard and hungry, a clash of lips and tongue as you devoured each other. It was not a kiss of innocence, but a kiss of need, of longing; every nerve within you and her screamed for more. That the firmness of her body was the one thing that you were seeking. You felt her breasts pressed against your chest, the hard buds of her nipples rubbing against your skin. The heat of her core against your thigh was a promise of what was to come.

There was no innocence to be had, no room for gentle exploration. Your hands quickly found her ass, gripping the firm, toned flesh, pulling her even closer, your body now fully aligned with hers. The kneading of her flesh made her moan into your mouth and separate your lips for a moment. A trail of spit followed, as her tongue licked her lips, and your eyes met hers in an intense gaze of pure lust.

Your eyes became clouded with desire, while Mikasa's eyes held a challenge. A challenge that you accepted without a second thought. Your mouth found the column of her throat, kissing and nipping at the sensitive skin, making her head fall back as a gasp escaped her lips. She tasted of salt and sweat, a result of the day's work, but also of her own unique scent that drove you crazy.

Your hands moved from her ass to her breasts, cupping them, feeling their weight and firmness in your palms. Her nipples were hard against your fingers, almost begging for attention, and you were happy to oblige. You pinched them, rolling them between your thumb and forefinger, eliciting a sharp gasp from her.

She loved it, you could tell. The way her body moved against yours, the way her hands gripped your shoulders, the way her breath came in short gasps...it was all the confirmation you needed. Your mouth moved from her neck to her breasts, taking one nipple into your mouth, sucking and nibbling at it. Mikasa's back arched, pushing her breast further into your mouth, her hands now buried in your hair.

The sensation of her nipple against your tongue was heavenly, the soft flesh of her breast a perfect contrast to the hardness of her nipple. You could feel her body trembling against yours, her breath coming out in harsh pants. You moved to the other breast, giving it the same attention, your other hand still kneading her ass, keeping her pressed against you. Her inexperience was almost compelled to fade away as she began to grind her hips against your leg, the friction of her wet core against your thigh making you even harder. The heat between her legs was almost scorching, a wet heat that made your own desire even more urgent.

Each kiss and suckle of her breasts made her clench her thighs around your leg, her breath catching in her throat. "Cnngkk!" Her voice was a strangled gasp, her hips moving in a rhythm that matched your own movements. You could feel her wetness spreading on your thigh, her scent filling your nostrils. The scent of her arousal was a heady mixture that only fueled your desire. You sucked harder on her nipple, making her let out a loud moan, her fingers tightening in your hair.

Yet, you knew that as much as she could enjoy the stimulation of her breasts, she was begging for more, just as you were. But it wouldn't be you to break the contact first. Instead, she used her grip on your hair to pull your head away from her breasts and back to her lips. The kiss was just as hard as before, if not even more desperate. She pushed you, her strength surprising you as you sat on the bed, your back now against the headboard.

She then straddled your lap, her knees on either side of your hips, her wet heat now directly against your own hard length. The feeling of her against you was almost too much to bear. But still, you let her lead. You wanted to see what she would do, what she wanted.

And then you saw it. Her hand moved to the front of your pants, her fingers deftly undoing the buttons. You lifted your hips to help her, and soon, your pants and underwear were off, your hardness finally free. You thought that she would move to remove her own underwear, but she didn't. Instead, she reached between you, her hand wrapping around your length.

A lustful smirk made it to her face as she began to move her hand up and down, her grip firm and sure. The sight of her confident hand stroking you was a sight that you would never forget, her breasts bouncing slightly with the movement, her eyes fixed on your face, watching your every reaction. She seemed to enjoy the power she had over you, the way she could make you gasp and moan with just a few long and hard strokes of her hand.

"Does it feel good?" She asked, her voice low and husky, almost a purr. You could only nod, your breath coming out in short, harsh pants. "Good," She whispered, her eyes glinting with satisfaction.

Then, she did something that almost made you lose control. She lifted herself up, the head of your cock now at the entrance of her wet heat. You could feel her wetness against the tip, a tantalizing promise of what was to come. But she didn't lower herself just yet. Instead, she rubbed the head of your cock against her wet folds, coating it with her own arousal. The sensation was maddening, the anticipation almost unbearable.

"This is...What I want," She murmured, her voice barely more than a breath. "What we...both want." She said as she moved the tip of your cock against her clit, making her shiver.

You had no opposition to her declaration; every ounce of you as if predestined to be connected to her in this way. You moved your hands to her hips, holding her as you lifted your own hips, pushing the head of your cock just a bit inside her. She gasped, her eyes widening for a moment, the abs of her belly tensing with the sensation.

That was the only encouragement she needed. With a hard push, she lowered herself onto you, your cock sliding inside her in one smooth motion. The feeling of her hot, tight walls around you was a feeling of ecstasy. She was wet and ready, her body accepting yours with such compatibility that it was as if you were made for each other. A perfect fit.

.

Every pleasure nerve fired at once, and Mikasa's voice was a strangled moan as she felt you fill her completely. Her eyes were half-closed, her lips parted in a silent gasp. Her lips curved into a lustful smile, her eyes filled to the brim with satisfaction as if the idea of your length finally inside her was all she had been waiting for.

You could feel the heat of her, the way her walls contracted against your pole. The feeling of being inside her was a feeling you knew you would never forget, a feeling that you would crave for the rest of your days. She was tight, so incredibly tight, but the wetness that coated your cock made the friction almost non-existent.

"Mikasa," You gasped, your hands carving into her hips.

"Conrad," She responded, her voice a breathless whisper. Her hands moved to your shoulders, her grip firm as she began to move. She started slow, her hips moving in a circular motion, grinding against you. You could feel her clit rubbing against your pelvis, making her gasp and shudder.

She was exploring you as if she had been starved of intimacy, her movements both tentative and yet...Confident. Confident in her ability to give and take pleasure, in her body, and in your own. She increased her speed, her hips now moving up and down, taking you in and out of her. Lathering your length with her wetness, her pace became more and more urgent, the sound of skin against skin filling the room.

You allowed your hands to rest on her hips, her movements enough to sate your desire for now. The sight of her, head thrown back, her breasts bouncing wildly each time she moved down, her abs flexing with each downward plunge...it was the definition of lust incarnate. Every moan, every gasp, every pant was a confirmation that you were doing something right.

You were giving her what she wanted.

And she was giving you what you wanted. The sound of her ass clapping against your thighs was a wonderful percussion that made your own desire burn even hotter. The smell of her arousal was thick in the air, a scent that you would forever associate with the perfect moment between you two.

Soon, the room filled with the sweat from your bodies, the wet slapping noises of Mikasa riding you turned harder and harder, her hips moving with a reckless abandon. The wooden frame of the bed was already protesting, but you could not care less. Your only focus was on Mikasa, on the pleasure you were sharing, on the feeling of her walls tightening around you, a sign that she was close.

Then, you felt it. A tightening in your abdomen, a fire burning in your loins. The rush of your essence, primed to be released. You could see that Mikasa felt it too, her movements becoming even more frantic, her breath coming out in harsh gasps.

"Conrad!" She almost screamed, her voice filled with pleasure and a hint of desperation. She wanted this, wanted you to release inside her. Wanted the feeling of your warmth filling her. Her wish was also your own. Her hips moved even faster, the sound of your skin meeting echoing in your ears. And then, the peak of ecstasy hit.

With a loud moan, Mikasa came, her body tensing, her walls clamping down on you, pulling at the last pieces of your own sanity. You released inside her, feeling her hot, wet walls milk you for every last drop. The feeling was indescribable, a wave of pleasure that washed over you, leaving you breathless and weak.

Yet, the motions of her hips did not stop right away; she continued to move, riding you through her orgasm, prolonging the pleasure for both of you. She let out a final gasp as the last of her orgasm washed over her, her body now covered in a sheen of sweat, her breath coming out in deep, satisfied pants.

She collapsed onto your chest, her body still trembling from the aftershocks of her orgasm. You wrapped your arms around her, holding her close as you both tried to regain your composure. The room was now filled with the scent of sex, heavy and thick. The air was warm and moist, a direct contrast to the cold night outside.

Your hands caressed her toned back, feeling the sweat on her skin. She was still panting, her head resting on your shoulder. Her hair was a mess, sticking to her face and neck. What had happened had not needed words of love, romance, or affection. This had been pure desire, pure passion. And yet, she lay there in your arms, completely trusting and relaxed.

"This is what I felt during that time," She finally spoke, her voice soft and breathless. "The strength...the connection...It was you I felt."

You held her tighter, understanding what she meant. The battle, the way you moved together...it was as if you were two parts of a whole. And now, in this moment, you felt that connection even more.

"And it is you I feel now," You replied, your voice as soft as hers. A sense of belonging filled you, a sense of rightness. This was where a part of you told you that you were meant to be with Mikasa.

She lifted her head, her dark eyes meeting yours. "And...I think you've got two more to fulfill."

You blinked, a bit surprised by her words. But then you understood. You smiled, a smile that was full of affection and desire. "Yes, I do," You said, your hand moving to her face, caressing her cheek. "And I will."

Mikasa leaned in, her lips meeting yours in a long, lust-driven kiss. It was a promise, a promise of more nights like this, of more connections, of a bond that would only grow stronger. But then she slowly got off of you, the slick feeling of her wetness pulling a bit more of your seed out of her, the warmth of it all only adding to her sense of satisfaction.

She shifted her weight, almost unwilling to separate from you, but she knew it was inevitable. She lay down on the bed, her naked body a sight that made you want her all over again. But you knew it was time to sleep. In the case that the sounds of your tryst had been heard, there was no guarantee that you would not be interrupted, and for that, rest was needed.

Yet, the fire she ignited within you still burned. There was no complete satisfaction within you; it demanded even more from the next rendezvous you'd have with her. You shifted on the bed, your body still buzzing from the intensity of your union, as if begging for more.

But with Mikasa cuddled up next to you, you could not risk giving her the satisfaction of your thrusts so soon, especially not with Emelina due to return. And so, you closed your eyes and allowed the sweet bliss of sleep to take you. You could already feel her hands tracing your body one last time before she let herself head to the bed next to you.

.

.

A second later, you heard the creak of the door and the soft footfalls of your sister returning to the room. Right on time to sleep in her own bed. You could only hope that she had not heard anything. But in truth, you did not care all that much. You had her trust...and that was all that mattered.

You heard Emelina's soft breathing as she settled into her own bed, and then silence enveloped the room, the three of you falling into a deep, exhausted slumber.

All of you, unaware of what tomorrow would bring, and the changes it would impose upon each of you. But Mikasa's body? It felt good on the bed next to yours; her skin's warmth was like a fire that you wanted to protect for as long as you lived. The thought of the dawn's light touching her, the way the sun's rays would kiss her skin...it made you feel all the more possessive of her. And for that, you had promised yourself that tomorrow, if the chances presented themselves again, you would take her against that window...a desire for her form to be visible against the morning light. The thought of all the naughty deeds you could do to her in this state of love was a source of endless arousal, a promise of pleasure that you could not wait to fulfill.

But for now, sleep was more important, even if conciliating rest with the lust within you was...almost impossible, you would need all your energy for whatever came your way.

And then, perhaps, Mikasa Ackerman would let you ravish her body once again...

***

The next morning brought back the memories of last night; you almost cursed yourself for only enjoying the presence of Mikasa, for not laying next to her and cuddling her until dawn's light. The warmth of her soft skin had called out to you, but you had been too aware of your surroundings, too aware of the potential for her to be taken from you. It was a selfish thought, but one that you had acted upon.

Then the selfishness brought into question your own actions, but not from the perspective of Mikasa...But from that of your other lovers, your girls. Historia, Annie, and Addie. You felt a pang of guilt, knowing that what had happened between you and Mikasa...Would it hurt them? Would it change things? Would they understand? The way you had moved so quickly with Mikasa...It felt like a betrayal, almost.

But the feeling of Mikasa's body against yours, her lips on yours, the way she moved...You could not deny the feeling of rightness. The way that her strength seemed to merge with yours, matching your every thrust as your bodies became one...

You tried to calm yourself. It had just been one night...Yet, your last thought before falling asleep had been to have more of her. To make love to her, to possess her, and to have her possess you. There was no need to deny the lust you felt towards her, or perhaps a sense of love was there, but you also knew you needed to hold back...You needed to keep these desires in check for a while longer. Perhaps discuss with Mikasa if what you both had was just a fleeting moment of lust, a way to release the tension, or if there was something more. Mikasa was not the type to...jump into an intimate relationship without thought. So what then? What did she want from you?...and most importantly, what did you want with her?

You sat up, noticing how Mikasa's bed was already empty. She must have left for her morning exercises already. You scratched the back of your head, the muscles of your new arm tensing with the movement, not sore in the slightest. You had almost forgotten about the whole incident with your arm.

And that scared you a lot.

Just what else had changed? Mikasa and you now had a secret that only the two of you shared. No one else knew what had transpired between you two. A secret, just like the one that only Hange knew about your arm. You felt a sudden isolation come over you, a feeling that you had not experienced before. Until...

"Brother!" The sudden call startled you; your eyes turned to Emelina, who was standing in just a white shirt, looking at you with a smug grin.

"What?" You asked, your voice a bit rough from sleep. You kept your distance, not knowing if your sister had caught you and Mikasa in the act, or maybe during the aftermath. "What do you want?" You repeated, trying to sound annoyed rather than nervous.

She walked closer, her bare feet making soft sounds against the wooden floor. "You look like you slept like a rock," She said, her grin not fading. "Or maybe...Did you get a little too 'rocky' last night?"

You felt your face heat up at her words. "I have no idea what you're talking about," You said, trying to keep your voice steady.

Emelina laughed, a soft, melodic sound. "Oh, come on, brother. You can't hide anything from me." She then sat on the edge of your bed, her legs crossed, the white shirt riding up her thighs. "Though...I did not think of you as a man of 'firsts' all of a sudden." She reached out and patted your cheek, her fingers soft against your skin.

"What do you mean?" You asked, feeling a bit more curious.

"Well..." She trailed off, her eyes glinting with a mischievous light. "Mikasa's not exactly your...usual type." She then leaned in closer. "She's not sweet like Addie, or as determined as Annie, and she certainly doesn't have that straightforward charm that Krista has." She tapped her finger against your chest, right over your heart. "But...she has something else."

You swallowed, feeling a bit uncomfortable with this line of questioning. "And what is that?" You asked, trying to deflect.

Emelina's smile widened. "She's strong. Strong in a way that you know they aren't...but in a manner that makes you trust her." She looked into your eyes, her own eyes narrowed slightly, as if she was peering into your very soul. "I am kinda jealous...brother," She said, leg crossing over the other, the sight of her thigh more exposed to your eyes. "I thought our bond of strength was something special...and I guess the fact that Mikasa managed to sneak into your bed...That made me feel a bit put off." Her words had a bit of sting, but she said them with a certain tone, as if it were a joke. As if she were just...teasing you.

"I wonder what your blonde girls would say if they found out about this." She let out a chuckle, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial murmur. "I can almost imagine the looks on their faces..'Oh no...Conrad! How could you?!' or perhaps it is more like...'Tehehe! Let's have a foursome!'...Hehe." Her chuckle was almost a little evil, one that you knew could become far more than a jest if the situation was different. "I mean, it seems there was enough for three of them...So why not four?"

You felt your mind race as the mental images of the last few moments between you and Mikasa clashed with those of you and your girls. What would they say? How would they react? The guilt you felt earlier intensified, but there was also a spark of excitement...You shoved that thought away. "Emelina," You warned, "Don't even joke about that."

Her eyes widened, and she put her hands up in mock surrender. "Alright, alright...I am just having fun." She then stood up, her smile returning. "I needed to tease you after losing your arm...And well, I think I got what I wanted."

You rolled your eyes at her, but there was a part of you that was relieved. The tension between you two had been broken, and the subject of you and Mikasa was now out in the open. Emelina knew, and she didn't seem angry...just teasing.

"Now...I should warn you, but...We will be having visitors soon," Emelina said, her tone shifting to something more serious.

"Visitors?" You asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Mmhm...We need to be presentable, and it seems we'll be needed as hosts." She then moved to grab her uniform, which was neatly folded on her bed. "Heroes of the moment and all that...I think Captain Levi wants us to give a good impression." She then gave a firm nod, "It will be important," She stated seriously, the playful Emelina gone in a moment.

You couldn't help but smile a bit at how quickly she could switch from teasing to serious. But you knew that she was right; you had to get ready and prepare to meet whoever was coming. As you got out of bed and reached for your own uniform, you wondered who these "special guests" could be.

After the two of you changed into your uniforms and made sure that you looked presentable, you left the room together. As you walked through the halls of the old headquarters, you couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The sudden change in routine, the lingering thoughts of Mikasa, and the cryptic words of your sister made you feel on edge.

Old Headquarters Dungeons

The crack of Captain Levi's leg was loud and clear against the face of the now bruised Reiner. The chains holding him against the wall made sure to keep him completely still. Levi was calm but frustrated, his leg ready to strike again if needed, but his words were just as sharp.

"Ready to talk, or do you need another one?" The captain asked, as he stood in front of the blond man, whose right eye was now completely swollen. Yet, his face was not defeated.

Reiner spat a bit of blood onto the floor, almost struggling for air as he shook his head. "I am not a traitor, I am..." His words were interrupted by another swift kick to the stomach, one that almost lifted his body off the ground if not for the chains holding him. His feet then hit the ground once more with a thud.

Levi's gaze did not falter. "So you are keeping that act of yours going?"

A few groans came off Reiner, but he did not let the pain deter him from talking. "I...am a member of the Training Corps, sir..." He said, his voice weak but persistent. "I am loyal to humanity..."

The captain simply shook his head, more out of annoyance rather than disbelief. "Tch...A loyal member of the Training Corps does not transform into an armored titan and destroy a gate. Idiot." His tone was cold. But the more he looked at Reiner, the more he noticed something was off. "I can see it in your eyes..." He then crouched a bit. "You are broken, but you are still fighting to remain within that delusion...what a sad sight to see."

Reiner's breath was heavy, his jaw clenched. He seemed to be trying to speak again, but he found himself unable to, not because of the pain, but because of the confusion that gripped his mind.

Then, footsteps came from the stairs behind Levi. Hange, wearing her white shirt and denim jacket with the Survey Corps emblem on it, stepped forward, her expression one of pure curiosity. "How's the interrogation going, Captain?"

The small captain stood back up, "As you can see, it's quite a bit of a pain in the ass." He gave a kick to Reiner, not as hard as the other two, but one that made his body jolt.

"Huh..." Hange looked at Reiner, her eyes studying every inch of his face, her glasses reflecting the faint torchlight. "Hmm...Do you think that his mind is actually broken? Or..." She then crouched, her face coming close to Reiner's. "...You know you killed a lot of people, right?"

Reiner's one good eye moved towards Hange, the mention of killing seemed to trigger a response. "I...I had to...They didn't have to die..." His voice was a bit more desperate. "It's their fault for being in the way!" He suddenly shouted, his body thrashing against the chains.

"Tsk...See?" Levi looked at Hange. "He is at least getting riled up."

"Mmhm..." Hange then pulled out a small notebook, her eyes quickly writing something down. Then, she closed the notebook and placed a hand on her chin. "...Say, Captain, maybe we should bring in more familiar faces to him."

Levi raised an eyebrow, "You think that will do something?"

Hange stood up and turned to Levi. "I do..." She said, a glint in her eye. "If he is fighting to keep the image of a soldier...then what would happen if we brought the ones he saw the most as his comrades?"

The captain looked at Hange for a moment, his gray eyes thoughtful. "I see...we could try to get a reaction from those connections, but what is the point?"

"Reinforce his fractured mind...make him remember who he really is."

"Or make him even more delusional," Levi added, turning his gaze back to Reiner. The captive soldier looked at the two of them with a mix of hate and confusion.

Hange laughed. "Well, the special guests will arrive alongside the new members of the survey corps. Perhaps...we can set up a little 'reunion' for our new friend, Reiner." She then patted Levi on the shoulder. "We could even play along, just to see if we can catch him slipping. It could even help get him on our side, for all we know."

Levi was not too convinced of the idea, but at least it provided him with an idea of what to do. "Alright, fine...Do whatever you want with him. And report any details to me if he breaks further." He then looked at Reiner with contempt. "We don't have much time, so let's make sure to squeeze out as much info as possible before he gets taken away by the military police."

Hange nodded, already thinking of all the possibilities that Reiner provided.

"Good." Then the captain turned towards the stairs and left, leaving Hange alone with the chained titan shifter.

Hange looked at him for a long moment, the silence of the dungeon only broken by the occasional drip of water from the ceiling. She then smiled, a wide, almost manic grin. "You know, Reiner...the fact that you managed to remain so calm until now...I respect that." She then crouched again, her eyes meeting his. "But a lot of people died because of you...And your friend, the colossal, he killed even more." Her tone turned sharp, almost sadistic. "...I wonder what your 'friends' would say about that?"

Reiner did not answer; he just coughed blood, sputtering from his mouth as he felt his body go a bit limp, his strength slowly fading. He had not thought of how he was going to explain all of this...At this point, he was not even sure what he was anymore.

Hange just looked at the reactions, knowing that Reiner was far from being broken, and in all honesty, she wanted the truth from him willingly, something she would get sooner or later. The knowledge of the titans and their relationship with humans was a treasure trove of information that she craved. To learn it from a titan that could transform would be a breakthrough...and her twisted mind was more than ready to deal with the guilt of torturing a human to do so.

Yet, she knew that time was of the essence. She turned away from Reiner and walked towards the stairs. Ready to seek out that strange cadet that had caught her attention...and make sure that the interrogation of Reiner Braun had the proper results.

Old Headquarters

Morning went on as usual, and you and the rest of Levi's squad were put in charge of finalizing the preparations in the old headquarters. The sun was now at its peak, and the heat was still bearable as you all worked. Mikasa was by your side, as she had been for the past few days; it almost felt as if she had claimed a spot next to you and would fight anyone who dared take it. You had a bit of a quiet moment to look at her, and you caught her eye. A soft smile formed on her lips as she then continued to clean one of the barrels that had been brought in.

Her enjoyment of a more mundane task was unlike her, and then your eyes were caught by Petra, who was cleaning near the well. She looked up and saw you staring at Mikasa; her own smile was a bit warmer. It felt as if she already knew what had transpired, but it was most likely born out of your own discomfort rather than any real evidence.

As soon as Mikasa spotted the smile, she shot you a look, one that made you feel like you were being watched by a hawk. She then reached out and pulled you a bit closer by the hem of your jacket. "...Later," She said, her lips appeared even more delicious than yesterday. It was almost unfair how much she had affected you in such a short time. But that was perhaps why she looked at you with a bit of a challenging stare. You could see the sweat glistening on her skin, and the uniform she wore was a bit more undone, the top buttons were undone, and you could see a bit of her cleavage. The pale skin of her breasts called for your touch.

Was that on purpose? Or was she just getting hot from the sun?

You could not help but lick your lips.

Mikasa noticed it and then gave you a mischievous grin. Her own thumb went to her lips, wetting them as she kept looking at you. Then she opened her mouth a bit, showing you her tongue. It slid out slowly, almost as if it were beckoning you to...

"Hey! You two!" Oluo's voice snapped you out of it. Mikasa's attention turned towards him, her expression returning to normal as the brown-haired soldier gave the two of you a smug look. "Captain Levi is looking for you."

"Where?" You asked, a bit too quickly, almost too eager to stop looking at Mikasa.

"Dungeon," Oluo said with a nod. "Seems the squad leader needs you both to help him with something."

You were about to ask, but Mikasa's hand on your arm stopped you. She had a look of understanding on her face, as if she already knew what was going to happen. "We should go," She said, her voice calm and collected.

Then she walked ahead of you, leading the way to the dungeon. You could not help but stare at her back, at the way her hips moved with each step. Her ass was firm and toned, the curve of it visible even through the uniform. You cursed the one responsible for designing the Survey Corps uniforms; they just made Mikasa look...even more enticing.

As soon as you've left, Petra looked at Oluo with a grin, "You really know how to ruin a moment, don't you?"

"Huh? What do you mean?" Oluo looked at her with a confused expression, not understanding what she meant.

Petra shook her head, a bit annoyed at losing the chance to observe a potential new relationship forming. But that was neither here nor there, and besides, it had felt nice to watch. In fact, she almost felt a bit more excited because of it. It was a sort of guilty pleasure that she could not deny.

"Forget it, just...be a bit more observant," She said, her voice a bit softer, but still with a hint of annoyance.

Oluo just grunted and went back to work, not understanding what she meant. But Petra just smiled to herself and returned to her own work.
