In another hospital.
Xiao Chen, who had already woken up, was feeling extremely bewildered by everything happening now.
Because he never, ever imagined that he would be knocked out and taken here.
Outside the hospital.
There were two gangsters with bruised fingers; they seemed to be the ones who knocked him out and brought him here earlier. He gritted his teeth.
"Those bastards actually knocked me out and brought me here; I wonder how my sister is doing."
He's very worried about his sister, but in this ward where he's staying, there's no sign of her.
So what he's thinking about is how he can escape and see his sister.
Once he can see his sister, it shouldn't be too far off for him to leave with her.
At this moment, someone outside opened the door and came in, seeing him awake again from the bed, and then brought a plate with a smirk.
"Eat up; after all, Director Zhang, despite being busy, instructed us to take care of you siblings, so we've been guarding you two here."
