They were at the train station before noon, everyone present was the member of their team that went to the village along with another man Helena did not recognize. He had finery red hair, and was only slightly shorter than Andre and Ryan. He looked a lot like Irina and Helena couldn't help but ask.
"Are you Irina's brother? Or her cousin?"
The man laughed nodding his head, "Yeah, we are twins." he smiled, squishing his head with Irina's head together, causing Helena to see even more similarities, of course this resulted in Irina hitting him, but he seemed the used to it. "I'm here to escort you guys to the capital. I am a holy knight." he introduced holding out, his hand for Helena to shake.
Helena took it, but gave him a look of confusion, "Don't holy knights protect priestess, and stuff like that."
"Only in the stories. Real holy night, protect the royal family." Elena explained as they boarded the train. Everyone had a decent size luggage which led Helena to believe that they'd be staying in the capital for awhile. Helena didn't like this, paired with the guild Masters, warning it had her feeling that there was a deeper meaning behind everything, if push came to shove, she would just disappear, but she'd be lying if she said she wouldn't miss Ryan.
Helen sighed as she took her seat next to Ryan, she really didn't want to go. She felt like some sort of criminal and for what for saving a town. "What is it?" Ryan asked looking down at her, he could sense that she felt uncomfortable he saw it when they were at the guild, and he saw when they were packing.
"Everything's going to be alright." he smiled, holding her hand. She didn't look too sure, but she held his hand with a smile.
Irina on the other hand, looked troubled. She was whispering harshly with her brother who seemed to just be smiling off her worried Helena desperately wanted to listen in, but she didn't felt as though it was right.
This matter concern her and she was not going to leave her life in anyone's hand. She discreetly cast that I spell without using her mouth on her ears to enhance her hearing. "Why would father want to see Helena?" Irina sounded anxious. "I'm not sure either but I guess we'll find out huh?" he laughed. Irina seemed even more irritated.
Helena immediately stopped listening, now it makes sense why Irina initially seemed so familiar, it was her red hair, the mark of the Royal family. While red hair was the mark of the royal family, they weren't the only persons with it, but their shade of red seemed distinct, like a special shade just for them. It would probably be wouldn't be hard to pick them from a lineup. But by themselves, they could pass as a regular citizens with red hair.
She couldn't help but wonder if everyone else knew this, or did Irina keep it a secret from everyone. As she was still relatively new to the guild, it wasn't her place to ask. But that didn't mean she couldn't get her answers from Ryan.
"Irina and her brother next to everyone else seem to stand out a bit." Helena commented, hoping your intentions weren't too obvious. Ryan smirked down at her causing her face to go red, she immediately knew he figured out her intentions. "Nah, I don't think so." his stone was almost mocking, causing her to go even redder.
"You know what I want to know." she mumbled, he leaned down to her ear. "You could say that their background is quite special." he whispered, confirming her suspicions. "Then why?" she couldn't help but asked. He thought for a bit before sighing, I honestly couldn't tell ya I don't think she ever spoke directly of the cause." he replied with a shrug. Helena sighed and tried her best not to worry for the rest of the journey.
This time around they got on a different train. He was heading in a completely the difference direction, Helena couldn't question it as she did not know the directions, but only looked at Ryan to ensure they were going in the right direction.
