Chapter 107 - End of destiny part 3

Adam and Eve, their hands still locked from the previous explosion, rise from the crater — their hair flowing with divine fire and crackling electricity. Their eyes shine gold and crimson, and the entire battlefield trembles at their combined aura.

Law (gritting his teeth): "Impossible… your bodies were crushed—your souls should've vanished!"

Eve (coldly): "We don't die that easily."

Adam (grinning): "Especially not before ending you."

A blinding flash — Adam and Eve vanish. The next instant, they're already trading blows with Law, the shockwaves ripping continents apart. Their strikes echo like thunderclaps across the atmosphere.

Eve moves with divine precision, her fists igniting trails of flame that spiral through the void. Adam charges beside her, his movements sharp, unpredictable — each hit exploding like meteors. Together, they overwhelm Law in a blur of fire, lightning, and rage.

Law roars, blocking both their attacks, but cracks appear across his energy shield. For the first time, he bleeds — golden ichor spilling across his chest.

Law (furious): "You… DARE!"

He retaliates — a storm of energy erupts, vaporizing entire mountain ranges. Eve blocks with a barrier of light while Adam channels hellfire to counter the blast.

The clash leaves a void in the sky — gravity collapses, light bends, and sound disappears. Then, Law appears behind them.

Before either can react, he strikes.

Adam's body slams into the ground, carving a crater miles deep. Eve is blasted through several floating ruins, coughing blood but refusing to fall.

Law lands between them, his aura towering like a god.

Law: "You two are nothing but failed creations. Your resistance is a flicker against the abyss."

He raises his hand — a beam of raw annihilation forms.

Suddenly — a blue flash streaks through the explosion.

The blast disperses — Don stands between them, arm smoking, body torn but unbroken. His aura pulses with energy drawn from both the Frontier and celestial worlds.

Don (smirking): "Sorry to interrupt the drama... but you'll have to get through me first."

He slams his palms together, forming twin spirals of energy, launching them directly at Law. The blast consumes the horizon — a kaleidoscope of power that even Law struggles to repel.

Eve and Adam recover — both charging beside Don, now three forces of destiny united.

Adam grabs Law from behind, locking him in place, taking blow after blow to restrain him.

Adam (snarling): "EVE, NOW!"

Eve dashes in, her aura blazing like the sun, fist glowing with divine light. She slams her strike through Law's chest — the world shakes.

Don unleashes one last wave, amplifying her attack, the energy forming a blinding explosion that engulfs them all.

When the light fades — the three of them stand barely breathing, smoke rising from their bodies.

Law stumbles forward, blood dripping from his mouth, his once-godlike form flickering.

Law (hoarse whisper): "You think… this is over…?"

Adam: "No… this is where it ends."

Adam and Eve share one final glance — and with their last bit of strength, both charge through the smoke, screaming in unison.

Adam & Eve: "THIS ENDS NOW!"

The attack tear through him, he begins dying.

Law (choking): "Impossible… I… am… eternal…"

He lifts his trembling hand toward the sky that no longer answers him.

Every breath crackles with broken light — the sound of a dying god.

Law: "To lose… to mortals… to them…"

His voice fades.

He looks down at the ashes beneath him — the same ashes he once called creation — and smiles bitterly.

Law: "Maybe… you were right, Father…"

And with those words — the light leaves his eyes and his slowly turns to dust.

Far across the crater's edge — Eve kneels beside Adam.

Her body is barely holding together — burns, blood, shattered bones — yet she still reaches for him.

Eve (weakly): "Hey… idiot… you still breathing?"

Adam (faint laugh): "Barely…"

He coughs blood, eyes half-closed. His voice is softer than the wind.

Adam: "Guess that's… one hell of a deal, huh? You said I couldn't die yet…"

Eve (smiling through tears): "You kept your end… so don't you dare quit now."

She tries to lift him up, but he puts a hand on hers — stopping her.

He looks at her the same way he did long ago, back in Paradise, before the fall.

Adam: "Eve… you were always the better one."

Eve: "Shut up."

Adam (faint smile): "Heh… yeah, I know."

A short distance away, Don stands among the wreckage, leaning on his weapon, bleeding heavily.

His vision blurs — yet he smiles faintly seeing the two siblings alive.

Don (to himself): "They actually did it… the bastards…"

He whispers:

Don: "it's finally over."

Then his knees give way. He collapses beside the fallen ruins — alive, but unconscious.

The sky, once swallowed by the void of space, flickered back to life with a faint shimmer of blue. The burning clouds cooled, and the fractured ground began to mend like a wound finally allowed to heal.

Yahweh's presence slowly drifted from Adam's body — a radiant light separating from his form, shimmering like divine dust. Adam collapsed to his knees, chest heaving, the light that once burned within him now fading.

Yahweh (softly, echoing through the sky):

Not yet...

His voice rolled across the horizon, carrying a warmth that began to blanket the broken world. All around them, the devastation reversed — cities reformed, oceans calmed, and the screams of death were replaced by the gasps of rebirth.

Every soul lost that day opened their eyes once more.

Eve, barely able to stand, looked up at the radiant figure in awe and disbelief.

Eve (breathing shakily): "He's… fixing everything…"

Adam clenched his fists, his expression conflicted — pride, sorrow, and exhaustion clashing all at once.

Yahweh's fading form turned toward the two of them, his outline now transparent, his voice soft but powerful.

Yahweh:

This world… will live again. My time here is over. But before I fade… each of you… shall speak your wish.

The light around him pulsed gently, illuminating Adam and Eve as they stood amidst the restored earth.

Yahweh (final words):

Choose wisely — for your wish shall shape the world that follows.

Eve, breathing heavily, took a shaky step forward. Her hair glowed faintly under the light, her eyes reflecting both the pain and the hope she carried.

Eve: "Then my wish…"

She looked at the horizon — countless worlds, once enslaved, now shining again in fragments of light.

Eve (firmly): "I wish for every world to be free — free from control, free from suffering, free from this war.… just freedom for everyone to live freely."

Yahweh's fading voice resonated softly:

Your wish… is granted.

Then Yahweh's gaze turned to Adam.

The wind grew quiet.

Adam didn't answer. He simply lowered his head, his shadow cast long under the restored sunlight.

Yahweh waited — patient, divine.

Finally, Adam whispered something — inaudible, only his lips moved.

A faint glow circled him for a brief moment, then vanished into the wind.

Eve: "What… did you wish for?"

Adam glanced at her, his crimson eyes calm but heavy.

Adam: "Doesn't matter."

Eve: "Adam—"

He turned away.

Adam (quietly): "Some things are better left unsaid."

The last trace of Yahweh's light dissolved into the sky — leaving the two siblings standing in silence as the world around them healed.

The world was still — until Yahweh raised his fading hand.

Golden light spiraled outward from his form, sweeping across mountains, oceans, and shattered cities. The light touched the wounded, the fallen, the broken — and one by one, they began to stir.

Xiao Ling gasped awake, light dancing in her eyes as her broken armor repaired itself.

Li Wei blinked, finding breath again as his wounds vanished, his body whole once more.

Seraphina, Don, Kai, Victoria, and the rest — every one of them — rose to their feet, surrounded by that same healing glow.

Even the ruined lands began to mend. Craters filled, fires dimmed, rivers flowed again, and trees rose from scorched earth.

The screams of suffering turned to whispers of awe as the light of creation rewove what had been torn apart.

Above it all, Yahweh's body flickered like a dying star. His divine form, once radiant, was now translucent — threads of light unraveling into the sky.

He turned to Adam and Eve one last time, voice soft yet echoing across worlds.

Yahweh: "Your wishes… have been fulfilled. Every soul restored, every world reborn."

He smiled faintly, a rare gentleness breaking through his celestial calm.

Yahweh: "The rest… now belongs to you."

The final spark of his essence rose into the heavens — dissolving into starlight.

The golden glow rained down one last time, warm and serene, before the sky cleared — leaving nothing but peace, and silence.

The sky was blue again.

The worlds were reborn.

Everyone else was waking up miles away…

But here, on a quiet plateau overlooking the restored horizon, only Adam and Eve remained.

A soft breeze carried dust across the ground. Adam stood with his back turned, still breathing hard, shoulders rising and falling. Eve walked toward him slowly, her expression unreadable, her sword trailing at her side.

There was no celebration.

No joy.

Only the promise they made long before.

Eve: "Adam… the deal."

Adam didn't move.

Eve: "You didn't forget, did you?"

He still didn't speak — just stared into the distance where the last glimmer of Yahweh's power had vanished.

Eve stepped closer, voice cold as steel.

Eve: "We survived. The worlds survived. Law is gone. So now…"

She raised her blade slightly.

Eve: "…we settle this."

Adam finally looked over his shoulder, expression sharp, exhausted, but resolute.

Adam: "I know."

Eve's eyes narrowed.

Eve: "Do you regret your decision for killing our family?"

Adam turned fully now, meeting her gaze head-on.

Adam: "It doesn't matter anymore."

Eve tightened her grip.

Eve: "You murdered our family. You betrayed everything. And now you want to pretend the past is irrelevant?"

Eve: "Draw your weapon."

A long pause.

Adam placed his hand on his sword — not pulling it free, but resting it there, as though deciding whether to honor their pact… or break it.

Adam: "Are you sure you still want this?"

Eve: "…Yes."

Eve: "One last battle… brother."

Adam: "Then come."

The smoke clears. The world is restored… yet the battlefield between Adam and Eve feels untouched by miracles.

They stand across from each other, barely breathing, their bodies still crackling with residual flame and electricity from Yahweh's blessing.

Eve wipes the blood from her lips.

Adam's fists tighten.

Both know what comes next.

The deal they made long ago… is finally here.
