Compared to the last time she saw her, Luo Tong was much less hostile to her this time.
"Ayan, class is over? I'm here to take you to celebrate your birthday!" Luo Tong approached warmly.
"No need." Chi Yan pushed Luo Tong aside, walking straight ahead without looking at her.
"Wait!" Luo Tong hurriedly stopped him, "I know you don't want to celebrate your birthday with your dad. I told him that I'd celebrate your birthday today on my behalf."
Chi Yan's pace noticeably slowed down.
"Zhang Ming and Du Xiang can come along too! Ayan's birthday shouldn't be too quiet, right?" Luo Tong asked again.
"Sure, we're Chi Yan's loyal fans. As long as he's happy, we're definitely in! Besides, there's a great meal, why not?" Zhang Ming agreed.
Du Xiang nodded: "I agree."
"Forget it. I'm not in the mood!" Ever since Yanran left, his birthday had lost all meaning. There was no joy to speak of; he just wanted some peace.
