Zhan Lan's comment was actually intended to 'embarrass' Ji Nian.
Unexpectedly, Ji Nian took it seriously.
"How do you calculate your interest? Don't make it too expensive! As long as it's not outrageously high, you can charge interest!" Ji Nian, although bargaining, was quite casual about it.
She didn't mind at all that Zhan Lan was being serious with her.
"Since you insist on borrowing money from me, let's write an IOU!" Zhan Lan took some paper and a pen, handing it to her. "How much do you want to borrow? We'll calculate the interest normally..."
"How much can you lend me?" Ji Nian wanted to know how much he had in his wallet.
"How much do you want to borrow?" Zhan Lan had a hunch.
Her appetite might not be small.
"Forget it, I'll borrow less! Just give me 20,000. I spend 10,000 a month, and the summer vacation will be over by then." Ji Nian's reluctant expression left Zhan Lan stunned.
"I'll save a bit and won't buy clothes." Ji Nian continued planning.
