"No need to look, I'll just do it slowly…" Ji Nian didn't want to study the picture carefully together with Zhan Lan.
Because she was way too familiar with this castle.
Zhan Lan saw that Ji Nian had no patience, felt that her personality wasn't suited for puzzles, and had basically lost all confidence in her.
Looks like he'd have to do this puzzle himself.
But Ji Nian had no intention of walking away and leaving him to it.
"How about we each do half?" Since the puzzle was kind of big, it was better for each of them to take up half the space.
"Sure. If you can't do it, just sit next to me and watch. Don't force yourself, okay?" Zhan Lan put the ugly words out there first.
Anyway, he was absolutely sure he could finish it.
"Mm!" Ji Nian replied with a grin, without exposing anything.
Once they started on the puzzle, they didn't talk much.
Each focused on their own side; both of them looked very serious.
Everything was going much more smoothly than Zhan Lan had imagined.
