Having someone suddenly be so nice to you, besides feeling delighted, really can catch you off guard.
"Why are you saying such things?"
Ji Nian was stunned.
"What are you afraid of? So timid? How did you dare come home with me before?" Zhan Lan felt like she was a different person now compared to before.
"Wouldn't you really have started to like me?" Ji Nian, what are you afraid of? Afraid that he's serious about what he said!
Zhan Lan kinda challenged him: "Can't I like you?"
"Of course you can..."
"Then that's settled."
"So, are you gonna pursue me?" Ji Nian was a bit scared initially, but hearing his acknowledgment made her feel sweet suddenly.
This feeling is so wonderful.
Zhan Lan's expression changed because of Ji Nian's words.
"Hey! I've already said I like you, so don't you like me?" Zhan Lan implied that since he'd confessed, she shouldn't dare not like him, nor refuse to be his girlfriend. Go ahead, try it.
