Yan Ye took a few steps forward to stand in front of Lian Xinying, a faint smile on his lips: "Why did you hire a jewelry appraiser? This jeweler you hired happens to be someone I know as well. He asked me about it, so I was curious and followed him here to take a look. Why? Am I not allowed to come over?"
Yan Ye's explanation seemed reasonable and logical.
As Yan Ye finished speaking, his gaze fell upon a box of jewels on the coffee table.
Suddenly, it was as if he understood something.
"Yingying, are these the jewels you lost before? Did you find them? Who helped you find them?" Yan Ye walked over and picked up the jewels.
Duran couldn't help but speak up: "These aren't the jewels Yingying lost before; they are Yingying's grandmother's jewels."
Duran finished speaking and stepped forward, attempting to retrieve the jewels from Yan Ye's hands.
