Chapter 32 - Evidence *

Miranda Cole should have remained silent after receiving the private legal notice. Sylvaniah had given her a clear opportunity to back away gracefully without facing public embarrassment.

The previous afternoon, Sylvaniah's agency released only a restrained statement denying the allegations, keeping details vague. No names had been exposed, no private conversations had been published, and none of Miranda's artists had been identified.

Privately, however, Miranda had received a formal notice containing enough evidence to make Sylvaniah's legal position clear. Stop now, or face the consequences.

Unfortunately, desperation often made foolish people even more reckless.

At eight forty the following morning, Melissa stormed into Sylvaniah's dressing room holding her phone, her heels clicking loudly against the floor. "She actually gave a live interview outside her office."

Sylvaniah looked up from her script, her expression unbothered. "Who did?"
