"Here…"
Kristina gently pulled Tyler by the sleeve and led him toward the west. The eastern side —where the towering flowers bloomed and giant bees and butterflies gathered— remained untouched, peaceful as always.
She stopped near a patch of disturbed soil and pointed downward.
Tyler crouched and examined the ground closely.
They are small and crude foot prints.
"…These look like goblin footprints," Tyler said. "And not just one or two. There are a lot of them."
Kristina nodded seriously.
"A pack of goblins."
Tyler frowned.
"But I thought they wouldn't dare to enter our area," Kristina continued. "They usually avoid places claimed by powerful beings. Still… look at the marks. They hesitated. Circled around. Left and came back again."
She traced the uneven pattern with her finger.
"They're either scouting… or waiting for a chance to attack later. That's how goblins work."
Tyler straightened, eyes narrowing.
