Cecilia didn't have time to refuse as Wei Anning dragged her out of the direction of the sleeping palace.
The two walked forward, the bright street lamps stretched their shadows long. Wei Anning was constantly holding onto Cecilia's arm, to prevent her from finding an excuse to go back. Fortunately, the palace hosting the delegation was not far from the sleeping palace, and they arrived shortly.
Cecilia frowned, "Didn't you say we were just taking a walk?"
"Yes, just taking a walk," Wei Anning lied through her teeth.
Cecilia looked at the nearby palace, understanding in her heart. Wei Anning had come to apologize, fearing rumors might spread, so she dragged Cecilia along as a scapegoat, and she specifically wanted her to spread ambiguous news with William.
Now that she is present, how could any ambiguous news spread?
