"Well, according to the author of Saint's Odyssey, the BloodSucker Arc was specifically designed to develop Raya's character," Riyan mused aloud, leaning back against the corridor wall as the memories of that convoluted plotline resurfaced.
He continued his internal monologue, piecing together the tragedy. "After Alex declared that Iris was the culprit, Gray didn't support her. May confronted him about it, and Gray justified his stance by claiming he was siding with the evidence. Cold bastard." He shook his head. "But after Iris's suicide, May couldn't bear it anymore. She broke down and filed for divorce, severing the bond they once shared. The custody of Raya was legally awarded to Gray, but it was purely symbolic. Raya, devastated by everything, decided to cut off ties with her father. She couldn't forgive him for the role he played in Iris's downfall."
