Just a few sentences, and the situation seems clear.
Poor Laxik, just like last time, is thrown irrationally into a special place, then comes endless torment.
The difference is, last time she seemed trapped in time, this time she's confined to a specific geographic area.
As for the source of the torment, on one hand, it's naturally from the director who's always waiting for intruders to use as tools; on the other hand, the attitude of Servis is also clearly expressed.
This expert is obviously not so keen on the idea of healing through charity.
He seems more inclined to view himself as a warden, using Insight to perceive the human heart, eventually sending people to where they belong.
So, faced with Laxik who fell from the sky, he's certainly interested, but clearly not in a hurry to send her out, more like quietly watching her performance.
As for Laxik's subsequent experiences, it's very easy to imagine.
