Why does the director seem somewhat split?
Yes, this is the question Fu Qian seemed to find the answer to.
An attitude that is erratic and contradictory.
Like enjoying the spectacle while pushing himself into the vortex of the sanatorium— the office of the chief physician.
But when faced with the truth, he retreats, reverting to a righteous persona aiming to uncover the scandal.
Even the hired actors are driven to madness, clearly poised from entrance to station, but then disheveled thereafter.
Why does the director behave this way?
The answer is because it's not merely his own behavior.
Wayne Falter embodies two wills within.
...
The suspicion from the beginning now truly bears fruit.
Especially the note in Wayne Falter's hand, though brief, is potent evidence.
Firstly, it unequivocally proves the director's existence.
From the start up until now, he's really been controlling the scene, thus any matter could be interpreted as a conspiracy theory.
