That night, Mu Yichen went to the master bedroom, took a blanket and left, then brought it back, and finally took it away again.
Qin Mu, worn out by his antics, soon let her guard down. When he entered again past midnight, she was too sleepy to pay him any attention. Half asleep, she heard the door open and close, and then knew nothing more!
——
The next morning, when Qin Mu got up, she felt warm all over. With her head down, sleepy-eyed, she headed to the bathroom. Just as she raised her hand to touch the bathroom door, it opened from inside. Hearing the sound, she lifted her eyes, and her gaze was instantly caught by his dark eyes, causing her heart to skip a beat.
"Morning!"
He was still dismissive, shot her a frosty look, greeted her, and headed out.
Qin Mu, however, felt somewhat relieved, turning her head to watch his back: "Hey! Mu Yichen!"
"What is it?"
Mu Yichen had already gone to the closet to find clothes, asking her nonchalantly.
"Why... why are you in my room?"
