On the way back from the Qin Family, Mu Yichen suddenly let out a chuckle.
"Do you agree with your father's words?"
Mu Yichen still asked Qin Mu.
Qin Mu turned to look at him, seeing the dissatisfaction in his eyes, the frustration on his face, and then she looked out the window: "He's just speaking on behalf of his daughter, isn't that what fathers do? What are you so angry about?"
Qin Mu didn't answer directly, but this explanation and rhetorical question made Mu Yichen want to sarcastically retort, though he held his tongue for the sake of their son and daughter sitting in the back.
As soon as they got home, he handed the children over to someone else and went upstairs, tugging at his shirt buttons.
The elders didn't understand why he was so angry.
