[3rd POV]
Standing across from the Ivory King, Gwen could feel his power. It was...immense. Far more immense in person than it was far away. It was like comparing the flame of a match to that of a literal star.
There was simply no comparison whatsoever. But the level of power that he held was around what she had expected, knowing that he was comparable to the power of all of the Beyonders combined, including THE Beyonder, as in the one that Molecule Man was rivaled to back in the day.
But she could also feel the instinctual dislike for the man in front of her. Her station as the Onyx Queen was a direct contender to his title, and their statuses were quite literal in nature, and for all intents and purposes, they were exact opposites.
Gwen could also see Doom's soul, just as he had seen hers. It was easily the single most powerful soul she had ever seen, many times stronger than the second strongest, and made that soul look like that of a child's in comparison. Not only that, but it's inherent nature was...interesting.
It was alien. Completely and absolutely alien. Unlike her own soul that was still inherently bonded to the greater expanse of existence, his was unbound to it. Just as the Beyonders were, with them existing outside of the Marvel multiverse in a different space.
They could not travel to other multiverses like she could, but they were closer than any other being in the Marvel multiverse in terms of the potential for going there.
The primordial voids that existed between multiverses would atomize them the very instant they tried. Whereas she was inherently capable of traveling using the void thanks to the system and her already having the ability to travel multiverses.
Staring at the man in front of her, Gwen could feel his own gaze upon her soul. And for once, she was incapable of actually blocking it. He was on par with her in power, so it would be a waste of time to try and stop him. And the system was still actively blocking the stuff that really had to be hidden away.
"G-Gwen?! What are you doing here!?" Spiderman asked on the side, his eyes wide in shock. He remembered meeting her during their run in with the Inheritors, and the fact that she had absolutely beaten the snot out of them with causal ease.
She beat the same beings they nearly died against, casually.
"Well when the multiverse ends, it's hard not to appear in the last remains of existence. And when you've got an egomaniac playing God, it's even harder to not interfere" Gwen responded with a casual smile on her face, inwardly though she was giving the go ahead to her armies of billions of androids, zombies, and other creatures.
They would begin to invade the rest of the Battleworld, stopping anyone from trying to interfere in their fight, and making sure they didn't do anything stupid. While also actively avoiding the harm of innocents, and killing except when it was absolutely necessary.
She hadn't summoned her billions of soldiers from the Warhammer universe, and she hoped she didn't need to. As they were sort of a last resort, and would be difficult to stop casualties if she used them in the war.
She regretted not subjacating the Tyranids as they would have been perfect. Although she did have a few trillions orcs underneath her, as after she beat the living snot out of billions of them, and showed them her power, they began to worship her as Gork and Mork, the twin Gods of the Orc's.
She was worshipped as both as certain orcs saw her as Gork, and others as Mork. And thanks to this, she had begun to obtain new traits and powers that belonged to that race, just to a higher degree.
Meaning she was able to subjacate quite a lot of orcs, which would be a good asset in this war if she truly needed them.
She doubted she would, but it wouldn't hurt to have them.
"...What are you?" Doom questioned, staring at her silently. He didn't know what she truly was, only that she was his opposite, and enemy. And that she was the "Queen in Black". He wasn't even sure why he knew this information, but he had a feeling that she was his greatest enemy.
The only one left that could kill him.
"You know what I am, you gazed upon my soul after all. Just as I know what you truly are, and what those Beyonders were. Truly interesting you know, seeing a soul so warped and alien. I've seen others similar, but not to such an...exotic degree" Gwen answered, as they stood opposite to one another.
"You are an abomination" Doom said simply, staring at her. Her soul was...well, not the prettiest sight to most people. Being a perfect amalgamation of more souls than what was found in entire universes.
"Personally I prefer "Odd" but I suppose that would be an accurate way to describe me. When you're made up of more souls than what are present in hundreds of universes, it's only natural you'd be a bit strange" Gwen replied with a shrug, as the others could only stare at her, confused.
"Before we begin, I propose that we do this far from here. As I don't think either of us would like to destroy this planet, and everyone on it. And quite frankly, I'd rather not kill so many innocent people, I'm not evil" Gwen said, as the man locked eyes with her, before slowly he nodded.
"Agreed. We can fight in the void beyond this world"
"Okay, seriously, what the hell is happening!?" Spiderman asked on the side, completely confused on what they were even doing.
"It's simple, me and Doom here are about to fight to the death to decide the fate of the multiverse. If I win, it's saved. If he wins, you're all fucked. We're opposites, I am the Queen in Black, multiversal ruler of the Symbiote Hive Mind, and the one that is meant to keep the Ivory Kings out. Those Ivory Kings are the Beyonders, aka the same ones that he absorbed the power of. Making him the last and final Ivory King, just as I am the last and one true Queen in Black" Gwen explained, as Doom silently watched her.
He was contemplating how to go about this battle, most likely. But it would seem that contemplating was ending quite rapidly, as he slowly nodded to himself, coming to a decision as he began to stare at her, his cape rippling around him as she slowly nodded in understanding, before speaking.
"It's best that you all stay far away from here, unless you want to get atomized just from the energy that'll come off from us. And don't even attempt to interfere, because you'd just kill yourself in the process" Gwen warned, as she glanced back at Doom, the two of them beginning to glow slightly.
And before the group could even react, they disappeared as if they were never there, and in the skies above, a deafening boom shook the planet, as they all looked up with wide eyes.
It was like the sun had exploded, and was actively exploding so many times that it was impossible to count. Mini explosions rippling throughout space time in the far far far distance.
All of this was the blows of the two entities, Gwen with her All Black in her hand, and Doom bathed in the light of the Ivory Kings power.
As they all stared up in the skies, awe and fear on their faces, they all had only one thought on their minds.
'...Please win this Gwen...'
