Kawamoto, Taniuchi, Misuzu, and Annie were all on the Transit bus. The bus rocked left and right.
Annie looked through the window without glass in the frame. She could see a cornfield. She then looked at Misuzu. "Why are you deciding everything?" Annie asked as she narrowed her eyes.
"The Goddess decides where we are going," Misuzu replied with confidence in her voice.
"You were the one who just said it," Annie said as she crossed her arms tightly.
"The Goddess spoke through me," Misuzu responded as she lifted her chin slightly.
"The Goddess speaks through us all," Kawamoto added as she nodded seriously.
"The Goddess is everywhere," Taniuchi added. She looked out at the passing cornfield.
Annie gritted her teeth. She thought it was useless talking to them at times. She thought the Goddess had to be hiding something.
At that moment, the fog cleared and the bus headed into the town. "I can see something," Kawamoto said as she leaned forward.
"We are heading into Town," Ted responded as he drove into Town and stopped.
Kawamoto, Taniuchi, Misuzu and Annie saw the old town. To the right they saw an abandoned bank. The exterior had cracks on the wall and the paint was peeling off. There were vines and ivy on the sides of the building. The large, arched windows were shattered. The heavy, double doors at the entrance hang slightly ajar. One was broken.
To the left there was an abandoned bar in a state of decay. The neon lights were worn with faded signage barely legible above the door. The windows, clouded with grime and dust. The door was missing.
"This place," Taniuchi said.
"It is a bit creepy," Kawamoto added. Taniuchi moved forward and held Kawamoto`s hand. They both smiled at each other.
"Insde the bank there is an item which the Goddess had guided you for," Ted remarked as his eyes glowed white. The bus door swung open.
"Let's go," Annie remarked. She walked off the bus. She thought she wanted to get over this as soon as possible.
Kawamoto, Taniuchi, Misuzu all followed behind her. "This place is creepy for sure," Misuzu agreed. "But the Goddess will guide us," she added.
"The Goddess will," Kawamoto and Taniuchi said together.
Annie gritted her teeth. She walked towards the bank and entered it. They saw the bank had clearly been ransacked. There were papers littered the floor, desks were overturned, and shattered glass on the floor. There were large footprints on the ground.
"What is this?" Taniuchi asked as she looked at the large footprint.
"They are smaller than a titan," Annie remarked. "But bigger than a human," she added.
"There was someone here," Kawamoto said, scanning the area with her M8A1. She looked to see for anyone or thing.
Annie walked forward and saw a large metal door on the floor. "What is this all?" she asked.
Misuzu walked forward. "It is a vault door used to keep valuables," she responded.
Taniuchi looked at the door. "The way it is bent, shows signs of brute force," she remarked.
"So someone strong did it," Kawamoto said.
Annie and Misuzu looked inside the room which was dark and musty. "There is light there," Misuzu said. The four of them walked forward and saw an underground staircase.
"Why does a bank have this?" Kawamoto asked.
"This is not a normal bank," Misuzu responded. They all walked down the stairs and saw a long corridor. The corridor had white panels on the floor. There were several cages to the left.
"This looks like a laboratory," Taniuchi remarked.
"Why is one down here?" Kawamoto asked.
"The Goddess wanted us here," Misuzu replied. They all nodded.
Annie kicked the cage on the ground. "Some wild animal might have been inside it," Annie replied.
At that moment, four zombies start to run towards them. "Grrrr," they shouted.
"They are coming," Taniuchi said.
She aimed her M8A1 and pressed the trigger. A sharp, rattling burst of fire erupted, and a spray of bullets went flying through the air. The rounds struck the charging zombies. One zombie's left arm exploded. Another took a volley to the chest, but the third zombie was hit squarely in the knee. The joint shattered instantly and sent chunks of flesh and pulverized bone flying outward. Its lower leg lost all stability, and the creature collapsed violently onto the road. The fourth staggered as the bullets tore through its torso, leaving gaping and smoking holes before it too crumpled, lifeless.
However the first two zombies got up. They ran forward.
"Pink Giant Fist," Misuzu said as she created a giant purple fist and swung.her forward. Her giant fist slammed into the zombies. The zombies got hit and went flying back. They were crushed into a wall.
"That takes care of them," Taniuchi remarked.
"Kawamoto wasted bullets, you should have finished them," Annie said.
"Leave her alone," Taniuchi said.
Annie stared at them.
"It was my fault," Kawamoto commented.
"Let's keep going," Misuzu said.
They walked around and saw an object with the word "Pack a Punch" written. It was dark blue. Kawamoto thought it looked out of place.
The four of them walked down the corridor. It had large boxes scattered on the ground. They moved forward until they saw another work bench.
"Another one," Tanuichi said. She looked at the blueprint. "It looks like we need a big part," she said as she touched her glasses.
"That object we saw before," Kawamoto responded as she turned around and pointed to the machine.
Misuzu held her sapphire ring out and activated it. A bright pink beam shot out and went towards the heavy object. Misuzu picked it up with her beam and lifted it towards the bench and gently set it down.
Kawamoto gasped softly. She turned her head immediately to Misuzu and nodded. "That was cool," she remarked.
Annie rolled her eyes. She scoffed quietly under her breath. She turned away from Misuzu. She thought of that power.
At the bench there was a bright light. They could hear the sound of saws and hammering. "This light," Kawamoto said as she shielded her eyes.
Annie looked away. The light went away. The object had gone.
"Where did it go?" Misuzu asked.
They all looked forward and saw a blue machine with three large gears exposed in the center. The shape of the machine was like an open mouth. There was a sign above which showed a gun with a limp barrel and another gun which looked like it was on steroids. There was another sign above which read "Pack A Punch." There was a small battery on top of the mouth. "Pack-a-Punch! Yee-haa! Pack-a-Punch!" a jingle was heard.
"What is this?" Annie asked as she looked at the strange machine.
Taniuchi walked forward. "I don't know but it might have something to do with that gun," she said as she pointed to the sign.
"Maybe it works with any gun?" Kawamoto suggested.
"It is worth a try," Taniuchi replied as she nodded.
"The Goddess brought us here for a reason," Misuzu said.
Kawamoto walked up, She put her M8A1 in the machine and pressed a switch. The machine started sparking and glowing blue. The gears were running full speed. There was a flag up. Then there was a ring. The M8A1 came out.
Kawamoto picked up the gun. She saw the gun had a dark silver metal finish. There were flowing calligraphy-style patterns across the metal surfaces. "Micro Aerator," Kawamoto remarked as she had a smile on her face.
"Micro," Taniuchi questioned.
"I don't know, the name came to my mind when I held this gun," Kawamoto replied.
"It looks like an upgrade," Taniuchi remarked.
"The Goddess must have known about this," Misuzu said as she held her sapphire ring out and activated it. A bright pink beam shot out and went towards the Pack-a-Punch. Misuzu picked it up with her beam. "We will bring this back with us," she added.
"For the Goddess," Kawamoto shouted.
"For the Goddess," Taniuchi and Misuzu both said together.
Annie thought this machine had the power to change a weapon. She thought she might need this to beat him.
"The quicker we are out the better," Annie scoffed.
They walked outside the bank. Suddenly they looked up to see a zombie wearing a red army uniform. He had armor plates on his chest and legs. He had red eyes and a face filled with rotting flesh. The zombie had two sickles on the left arm and an energy weapon on the right arm.
"What is that?" Taniuchi asked as she hid behind Kawamoto.
"Is it friendly?" Kawamoto asked.
The zombie charged his energy weapon and fired it at girls. Annie jumped out of the way. Taniuchi pushed Kawamoto down. They both fell to the ground. Taniuchi squeezed Kawamoto`s large breast.
Misuzu was holding the Pack-A-Punch machine. She had no time to move and she got hit by the energy wave. She went sliding back. Misuzu held on however she was panting. She felt her insides hurt. She panted.
"Misuzu," Kawamoto shouted as she got up. She aimed her new gun, the Micro Aerator. She pressed the trigger and fired a round of bullets. The bullets hit the armoured zombie and metal chunks started to rip his body.
The zombie aimed his cannon and fired again. The energy blast went towards Kawamoto.
"Get down," Taniuchi said as she grabbed Kawamoto`s waist and pulled her down. Her dress up and her private parts were exposed.
"I was going to move," Kawamoto remarked as she pulled her dress down.
Taniuchi went red as she saw the glorious parts.
Annie bit her lip. There was an explosive surge of energy rippled through her veins. There was a golden-white flash. A pillar of steam shot skyward. Her skeleton elongated, twisted and reshaped itself. Her chest expanded outward. Her arms and legs grew. Her fingers formed into hardened claws. Her head solidified. Her skinless face took shape and became feminine. She became a 14 metre titan.
Annie swung her massive, hardened fist down in a blur. The initial punch landed with the force of a falling boulder and struck the heavily armored undead squarely in the upper body and head. A horrifying crunch echoed through the silent street as the heavy metal plating protecting its shoulder and helmet buckled and fractured inward like cheap tin. The zombie, momentarily defied gravity due to the sheer impact however was driven instantly down into the asphalt, creating a small crater where it landed.
Without pausing, Annie immediately pulled her fist back and drove it down a second time. The impact was louder. The remaining armor around the zombie's midsection shattered explosively and sent fragmented metal shards spinning into the air.
Annie finished the assault with a final, piston-like downward thrust. She delivered the blow straight to where the zombie's head should have been. This third punch flattened and pulped his body and face. The entire armored form collapsed into a smoking, twitching heap of destroyed metal.
Annie took a step back and transformed back into her human form. "Let's get going," she remarked as she walked to the bus and boarded.
Kawamoto and Taniuchi walked on the bus behind her.
Misuzu looked at them. She then floated onto the bus with the Pack-A-Punch Machine. She was able to turn it and it fitted through the door.
"You have obtained the Pack-A-Punch," Ted remarked.
"What does it do?" Kawamoto asked.
"It will upgrade any weapon and make it stronger," Ted said as he closed the door.
"Micro Aerator," she muttered.
"It made no difference there," Annie remarked.
"It did," Ted responded as he started to move the bus.
