Under the night sky, the convoy and formation were orderly.
The three trucks that previously carried people had turned on their front lights, with the one in front turning on its high beams, illuminating the path from the formation to the camp clearly.
Meng Zilin stood at the front of the formation, raised her hand to point towards the camp, and then raised her voice to ask, "Can everyone see the red rope in front of the camp?"
"Yes, we can!"
The trainees answered in unison.
"After being on the truck all day, you're probably feeling drowsy and your minds aren't clear," said Meng Zilin, "The instructors understand, so now I'm giving you a choice: either crawl up from here, or lose five points, and we'll drive you up."
As expected.
The group had grown accustomed to such bizarre arrangements.
Although no one expected anyone to opt-out, Meng Zilin proceeded by the book and said, "As a unit, you have ten seconds to decide."
