Lin Qinqin looked at the old lady's pitiful appearance, her heart softened, and she agreed.
She planned to have the driver take them back together, but the old lady said her home was in an old alley where the car couldn't enter, they had to walk, and it's not far, just about a ten-minute walk.
Lin Qinqin thought, it's just about twenty minutes round trip, she could consider it a stroll.
Supporting the old lady, they left the hospital, and the old lady led the way, taking her through another hospital exit, saying it's a shortcut.
Halfway along, the old lady asked to borrow the phone to call her daughter, and as soon as Lin Qinqin handed the phone to her, unexpectedly, the lady's hand slipped and the phone fell to the ground, breaking it.
The old woman looked at the broken phone and was immediately so scared she was about to cry, repeatedly saying sorry.
